My sister-in-law came out today and helped me get things ready for tomorrows big meal. She is such a sweetheart and helped a great deal. I am totally exhausted. I taped my soaps so I may just go lie down and watch them here in a bit.
We were able to get so much done. Tomorrow will be so easy...just add the ingredients and wha lah! We cut up, diced, minced and whatever all the ingredients and then put them into baggies. All I will have to do tomorrow in mix them together.
Can't wait to have everyone out!! Looks like so far it will be us three, my sister-in-law, mother-in-law, brother-in-law, niece and her friend, other sister-in-law and her live-in. Not that many, but it's always nice. You never know for sure who else will come...but the more the merrier!

Sounds wonderful, Janet! I made the cornbread and biscuits for the dressing, mixed up the baked beans, made all the dips and hors doerves, and just washed and cleaned out the turkey so I can put it in the oven when I go to bed. In the morning all I'll have to do is finish the dressing, heat up the beans and greet everybody!
It'll be me, my 2 sons and the oldest's wife, my parents, 2 sisters and their hubbies, and their children (2 each) plus my 2 yorkies! The guy came today and finished my yard and I'm totally happy and exhausted! I'm ready for some tv time then a good book before bedtime.
Happy Thanksgiving, all!

I've just finished getting things ready for tomorrow except the turkey. I've been baking rolls and pies all afternoon. The stuffing is ready to go in the oven and the cranberries are ready to go in the salad. For our noon meal it's just going to be me, my husband, daughter #3, daughter #2, her husband, and their 2 girls, and of course, Reuger. Later tomorrow evening my son, daughter-in-law, their 2 girls, and son, will be coming over. We may end up inviting my husband's little sister and her family to come over tomorrow night too. We have lots of room, with a full, unfinished basement for the kids to play in. Well, I guess I better go finish clean-up!!!!
I hope that everyone has a Very Merry Thanksgiving Day!!!
