Such a shame that they won't be able to prove cause of death. Hope they figure a way to keep the mom locked away. What a dysfunctional family.

Something is fishy somewhere don't ya think? Some say she did it...some say her Dad did it. I sure hope they can get to the truth.

I haven't followed it much at all. It upsets me when a child has been murdered so I usually avoid the subsequent trial. I hope they can determine who did it.

I think that the Mom did it. She went out and partied and had fun after she came up missing. Any other Mom would have been too worried to have gone out and partied. I think that she had the body in her car as well......her Dad may have helped her to hide the body but I would think that he would have buried her not have just thrown her in a swampy area.
It's so sad that it's hard to listen to all of the details. There's too many stories out there that involve children.....and I don't like to hear them either. Too sad!!
I'm with you, Gayle. I cannot watch this terrible trial. When it all happened, there seemed to be no question that the mother did it. Then, I remember her father trying to commit suicide in a motel room???
I don't know how the father became a suspect, but I will be glad when it is over, and the little one can finally rest in peace.

It makes me sick. I have read every document released in this case over 3 years, the jury got it horribly wrong.

Thanks Becks. Honestly, I could not watch them. It is too hard to see that beautiful little girl, knowing her fate.
It is a beautiful tribute to her though. You worked very hard on this. The little angel is resting in peace now.
I do believe that Casey Anthony did murder her child. She will most definitely pay for it somewhere along the road of her terrible, pathetic life. God does not leave things like this unpunished.
We just have to be patient and one day, we will hear what God had in store for her.

Storm rolled into the Anthony neighborhood and lightning struck the tree where Caylee's remains rested/where there is a make shift memorial for her now on the day Casey was sentenced.
No!!! How about that for an omen!!!
That mother better start praying for forgiveness, and mean it!

I read that the jurors thought that the mom did it too but there was still some doubt about it so they had to give her the outcome that they did. I sure hope that she doesn't make any money off of this.....that would be insane.
With this judgement.....if they happen to find evidence that she did it.....can they come back and convict her later? Sometimes they can't be tried again. This is such a sad story.
They cannot try her again on this evidence. It would be double jeopardy. I don't know about if they find new evidence.
She has a terrible life, and I cannot see how that will change in the future. She really didn't get away with anything. Can you imagine what a dark heart that woman has, and what kind of thoughts she has? Everybody hates her, and she is very recognizable.
I would have felt better if she had been convicted, but I feel that God will take care of it without a doubt.

No doubt!! There are so many that hate her that she should be afraid to be out in public. She is going to have a very hard time in the future, dint ya think?

You would have thought that O. J. Simpson would have too but he's still alive. Of course, he didn't kill a small child.
Isn't he in jail for a 30 year sentence for another charge? He is such a whack job, I wonder if he is really on this planet!

I forgot all about him. When he was free he was always in the news, but you're right..I do believe that waste of human flesh is in jail

Oh....I remember.......he tried to steal some stuff that was his back......and hired men to help him and they had guns!!! I do remember that!!!!
He really is so dumb! Didn't he know he would get caught? Now, we are spending good money to feed and support him in jail! Feh!!!
Casey Anthony is going to be out on Sunday, so I hear. I hope she goes away and the media stops talking about her soon. It is a big story, and fascinating, although tragic. The way the legal system works is interesting to learn about, as is the fact that she is psychologically so off. There are a lot of issues to learn from here, but it is also so tragic. I think this will be a case that will be studied for years.
O.J. Simpson's case was also historic, but I think that is because they used the race card, and he got off because of it. Sociologically, that was ah important sign of those times, but I think he is just a dirt bag, not worth studying at all.
There is already a new law because of the Anthony case. I wonder if there will be any other changes in the legal system from this trail.
