I found the best place to get free ebooks! Just go to Pixel of Ink on Facebook, like their page, and you can get tons of free books. They offer different ones every day!

Ok......I got a new Kindle Touch as an early birthday present. Now.....how do I download the books to my Kindle??? Do I need to subscribe to it through Amazon for 99 cents?? I'm totally lost!!!

Thanks Betsi! I haven't looked at what is involved yet, Diana. It looks like a 99cent charge is going to be involved for the kindle.

That's what I thought that it looked like too, Judy. I think that I'll watch for awhile and see if they have books that I'm interested in before I join. Even 99 cents a month is pretty cheap!!!

I don't know how a Kindle Fire works. I don't have a Kindle, I have the Kindle App on my iPhone, iPad, and computer. The app was free. I clicked Like on the Pixel of Ink page on Facebook, and every day their free books are posted on my FB wall. I choose which book I want, click on it, and it takes me to the Amazon page where the book is listed. The price is listed at 0.00 I have a MacBook computer, and my phone and iPad have a wireless sync through iCloud.

I think that you have to subscribe through Amazon for 99 cents to have it loaded onto your Kindle. That's pretty cheap though for all of the books you can get. If I just load it onto my compter it's free.......I'm not sure what the difference is.

I didn't have to pay anything to have books loaded onto the Kindle app on my iPad. I'm loving this. Now wish I would have time to read...lol.

I still have to check out the books. They send fb updates every day!

The Kindle charges but ther ipad and ipod are free. It's easier to read from the Kindle outside in the sun. Other than that, I don't see what the difference would be. I love my Kindle!!!

I haven't gotten the iCloud service yet. It's too much trouble at this point. I just get lazier and lazier!!!:(

I used to be such a geek. Everything was synced, filed, organized, etc. Now...there's always tomorrow, which never seems to come.

Ugh.....I found a good book for free but had the wrong account open on Amazon and ended up losing it. Next time I clicked on it it wasn't free. I was so disappointed.

That had to be disappointing. I haven't read any that I have downloaded yet and I have downloaded quite a few. I need to get busy huh? Maybe when I have more down time I can start reading again.

Diana,

If you call Amazon, they are soooo nice and helpful. They will help you get the free download back, I bet.

It's no big deal. It will surely be back at a later date or I'll chose a different one! I already have several books loaded to read!!!
