Going to be MIA for a while......

I'm going to be off of my computer for awhile. Our church is calling for a fast by the congregration. Each of us is asked to fast from something. For me the computer will be a hard thing to be away from but that's what I feel that I'm suppose to do. I won't be on for 10 days.......until the end of the month. I know that it's something that's hard to understand and I know that it's going to be hard because I'm on the computer so much so it will be a sacrifice on my part. I guess that you could compare it to Lent. I'll be on today but it starts tomorrow. I'll be happy to chat with you on the phone but just won't be on the computer. I'll miss all of you terribly!!!

I'm BBBBBAAAAAAACCCCCCCKKKKKKKKk!!!!!

I missed all of you so much!! It was surprising how many times I thought about getting on the computer at first!! But.....I was also so busy!! I got out garage sale stuff to price and got it all packed and went to my Aunt Marva's on Thursday evening to start our garage sale on Friday morning. I made $200 but I think that we would have done so much better if it hadn't drizzled most of the time. We didn't have near the people come that I know was there last year. I definitely think that it was the weather......but on the other hand......my Aunt is so funny and we had such a good time together!!

I missed all of you sooooo much!! I'm so ready to catch up and see what all went on while I was gone!!

I'm not sure how much I'll be on this week. We have Homecoming next weekend and I signed up at church to make 10 dozen 4 inch cookies!! I didn't realize when I signed up that they had to be BIG cookies!!! So I will be baking most of this week!!! I also need to get some things into my flea market booth because I took a lot of stuff out and took it to the garage sale. Always busy!!

Glen likes oatmeal cookies so I'm going to make some of those with some butterscotch chips in them. Then I bought some M & M's and vanilla chips to go in some plain cookies......so I'm probably just making a lot of those kinds of cookies. I also have some pecans that I'll probably add to some.......maybe......so many people are allergic to nuts so I'm not sure about that.

I'm getting ready to start some this afternoon.

Betsi, you're right......I'll probably spend a lot of time figuring out how much dough it takes to make a 4" cookie!! Oh well......more for us to eat!!!
