3 lbs ground beef
2 chopped onions
2 cups chopped celery
2 cups sliced carrots
1 can diced tomatoes
2 tbsp beef bouillon
1/2 cup pot barley (optional)
1-2 cans kernel corn
2-3 cans tomato soup
2 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp thyme
4 bay leaves
water - enough to cover

Brown the ground beef. Add all ingredients to a pot and bring to a boil. Cook on low heat for 3 hours. Remove bay leaves before eating. Easy and delicious! :)

You can also add anything else you want - I added sliced parsnip this time and it turned out great!

I'm glad you posted the hamburger soup recipe for everyone to see. But I found it buried in a soup thread on the second page. Sorry! I'm going to the store to get things to make it!

Lindsey, I just ate a bowl of your hamburger soup! It is delicious. I love it! I only made half the recipe and I'll be able to freeze half! You are right, you could add many other things. I'm thinking next time I might add green chiles and corm!

THANKS!
