Me & my sisters!

This was taken Thanksgiving. The far left is my older sister, Pam. The middle is my younger sister, Stacye. I'm the beached whale in pink on the right holding my baby, Lucy.

Now that's a lovely pic! And NO... there's no beached whale anywhere in the pic, don't put yourself down like that girl, you are an attractive lady, with 2 very pretty sisters, and a gorgeous yorkie ;)

Ya'll are too sweet! My sisters are VERY special. Pam is a caterer and does beautiful cakes. Stacye is an interior decorator and makes the most beautiful window treatments you've ever seen! She just made the draperies for my bedroom and when I've finished I'll post pictures.

I'm very self-conscious. I gained a lot of weight when Mark died and I haven't worked up the interest to try to get it off yet. I may have to enlist all of you here to be my drill sargeants;)

Wow, what beautiful sisters!! I bet you three have a great time together...it sure looks like it!! I lost my only sister in 1980, three days before her 40th birthday to cancer. So cherish them while you have them. My sister and I were just getting to know each other as adults, I was 25 when she passed.

I have two sisters also and I am the middle child...Where are you as far as age goes Youngerst oldest??? MIDDLE!!!!

Don't compare yourself to your sisters!!! I have to remember this also. Both my sisters are smaller then me, and FEEL fat... I am the same weight I was when i HAD MY SON!!! (I gained 30 pounds when I was pregnant withhim!:eek: )I will see them for Christmas and I drive myself crazy trying to pick the skinny out fits out that make me look smaller...(It's not working!) Hang in there... you look fine!

I was rereading this thread and thought why is everyone telling her not to be down on herself...YOU CALLED YOURSELF A WHALE!!! :eek: You'd better take another look in the mirror girl. You are very pretty. So stop it right NOW!!! :)

I have a sister, and doubt that there are any pictures of us taken os us together in adulthood. She and I haven't had much to do with each other for the past 15+ yrs.
She's not someone I have anything in common with other than our ancestry.

She's got no morals, ethics, compassion or sense of decency. She's cheated on all 3 of her husbands, was a lousy mother which resulted in the death of one of her kids at the hands of the other. What was the straw that broke the camels back for me was that after her surviving child was put into a group home for the emotionally disturbed, she had the audacity to say "It's nice to be free of worrying about kids and actually live my own life."

At that point I cut her off and have no interest in a relationship of any kind with her.

So enjoy your sisters! I wish mine was someone I could feel that way about.

I read all your responses and I have to say that I thank God for my sisters. I wouldn't have made it thru this last year without them. Besides being related, we actually LIKE each other. I know that if I needed either of them, or vice versa, all I'd have to do is pick up the phone.
