Hi ladies -
I'm new here. I wandered over from YT, been lurking for awhile and decided to join. :)

So my first question for you... Who has ideas for a 30th birthday party for my husband?

Last year we did a combined dinner party at a local restaurant with his close friend and cousin (also celebrating Dec birthdays), inviting our friends and family. I sent he and his buddies paintballing one year. Another year it was a snacks/party at a friend's home.

We've had a super rough year, and money is a bit tight especially with the holidays around the corner. We don't have a home large enough to invite a lot of friends over for dinner. Our main circle of friends is about 12 people.

And to top it all off, I have only two weeks to come up with a plan. Whatever I come up with might have to be thrown together last minute because he's not sure he'll feel up to celebrating with others (health issues).

Tough one, huh? If anyone has any suggestions I am all ears.

When we were younger we use to have a small group of friend come over, eat snacks and play games. There are so many out there now that look like so much fun. I personally like the ones where you have to get up and do something, not just sit. I remember laughing so hard and having sooo much fun.:D

Almost forgot....Glad you joined us. We have a great time here. We need more people to get some more topics going, so invite your friends too!!

I agree with Janet. A small party with snacks and finger foods and games to play would be a lot of fun. There's a lot of really fun games for small groups. A couple of our favorites is Balderdash and Taboo. I'm sure that some of the other ladies will have some good ideas too.
