Our mall Santa isn't even wearing a coat this year. He's wearing thermal underwear shirt, with Christmas designs on it, with his pants, suspenders and cap. It's still really warn down here, so he's probably much more comfortable, but I'm not so comfortable with a casual Santa. Just doesn't look right. Our mall Santa used to look really nice with a big setup. Now his area is smaller, he shares it with some other stuff, now he's dressing down. :(

My poor kids have missed every chance to see Santa this year! And it is completely my fault! Well, the older two didn't get to see him. It is mostly because we have no transportation to take them anywhere that Santa is. They missed a Christmas party where Santa was passing out presents and everything. This Wednesday the younger two get to go to a Christmas party for the local help me grow program (my youngest son is in the program) but the older two are going to miss it because they will be in school during that time. I really wish the older two could go because they get a picture with Santa.

Tonight is Christmas in the park and I really really want to take my kids because Santa will be there and the pictures are FREE!! There is a local realtor and his wife who host Christmas in the Park every year and they pay to rent the ENTIRE park for the evening and EVERYTHING is paid for by them so that the kids can go and have a fun time for free. My kids missed it last year, and they will probably miss it this year since we have no vehicle unless I can talk my mom into taking us, which I doubt.

It's ok Brooke. I didn't tell my kids anything about it so they do not even know they missed it. We aren't going to take the little ones tomorrow either because still no transportation LOLOL but they won't know they are missing it either.

They can write to Santa and drop it in the mail box...my kids always did that... Once i called Santa to tell him my kids were acting up and that I was concerned that maybe Santa would not be comiing to our house...He told me to tell my kids he would come if they were good from then on... My son's eyes were as big as Saucers!!!! it worked pretty well though!!!;)
