I think I told you all I recieved two books for Christmas. I love reading and have finished them both.
The first one I read was Inside My Heart by Robin McGraw. This book was and is very inspiring for me. I whole heartedly recommend reading this book. I came away with renewed strength and yes, wisdom.
I just finished..in tears...Marley and Me. The book has been recommended on YT for quite some time. It was hard reading the last few chapters in tears. Every dog lover should read this book. I just can not recommend it enough. One of the best books I've ever read.
So I highly recommend those two books for those of you who love to read and even to those who don't....they just may make a reader out of you yet.

I think that Marley and me sounds like a good book. I'm going to see if our library has it. You must read books like I do, very quickly. I have trouble putting books down after I start them. I love to read!!!!

That is soooo true. Once I open them it's hard to put them down. I have to though to be able to get anything else done and get on here and YT...lol They are both very, VERY good books. I wish I had another to start, but I want to get the one about quitting smoking!

I have seen that picture before and it has got to be one of the cutest I've ever seen. Wasn't that one of the best books? I thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't wait to see what Rebecca thinks.

Inside my Heart.... hmmm didnt think she would be a good author..... glad you liked it might have to read that one... I am in the middle of reading "The Audacity of Hope" By Illinois Senator Barack Obama.... HA , he's a Democratic and I am 110% Republican but I gotta say if this man ran for president it would be so hard not to vote for him!

I personally think you should go ahead and read Marley and Me, it will help you get all your feelings out, plus, it's just a great book. I loved every page!
As for Inside My Heart, it was so much better than I imagined. She talks a lot about her life, life with Dr. Phil, and their boys. But she also talks about the choices she has made in her life and how we too, can start leading emotionally healthier lives by the choices we make. How not to let people walk over you by the choices we make. She uses the word choices alot in her book, but it is all so inspiring and I think it will help me a lot in the relationship I have with my mother, at least I'm hoping so. She talks about her childhood with an alcoholic father, she could have chosen to hate him for all he put their family through, but she chose to love his good qualities and not his bad. She just puts things in such a good perspective.
Also, it's not one of those self-help books. It's really good reading and like I've said, I really recommend it.

Nope, not finished with it yet. I read 1-2 chapters a night. I have 100 more pages to go. I'm a slow reader. I'll let you know when I finish it!
