New Job

I started my new job today. My new boss has a great personality. My old boss had applied for this job also. She lost her job due to election. All of her friends that work there were really honked off today at me. They thought she should have gotten the job. Even though I have more experience. So tonight when the hubby gets home he can remove all the daggers out of my back. It's a great world in which we live in. But I'm still glad I made the move. I know who my friends are and I find that comforting. Thanks for reading.

It is hard working with people who resent you for being good and experienced. It's all envy and well, that color green just isn't very becoming. They get over it after a while, then life will go on as usual...just be calm and don't let them get to you.:)

I agree with Janet. Just hang in there and they'll get over it. Just put on a smile and be a friend. It'll be hard for awhile but as soon as they see that you're more than qualified for the job they'll accept you. I'll say a prayer that tomorrow things will go better.

You girls I don't know what I would do with out you. Your all very special people.
Job is going good so far. But it's only been 2 days. LOL. My good friend from the other office went to bat for me today. She told the gossips to mind their own business and that the best person got the job that had the best work ethics.
Plus she told them I have 2 kids in college and a 3rd on the way in 4 years and a new grandbaby to help care for. So put that in your pipe and choke on it.
Then I've also have had customers come in and tell me not to worry what goes around comes around. So Bless you all I am truly blessed. Thank you.;)

Just hang in there Linda, it will all pass in a few days or so. It takes more energy to be angry and hateful than it does to be happy. Don't know why people go to so much trouble.
