I have TWO!

The first one comes from Jimmy Buffett's song "Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes." Here it is:

"Yesterday's over my shoulder, so I can't look back for too long. There's just so much to see waiting in front of me, and I know that I just can't go wrong."

The second one comes from Garth Brooks' "The River." Here it is:

"There's bound to be rough waters, and I know I'll take some falls. But with the good Lord as my shepard, I can make it through it all."

I can't believe I messed up my favorite song lyric. The last lyric from "The River" is supposed to be:

"There's bound to be rough waters, and I know I'll take some falls. But with the good Lord as my captain, I can make it through it all." NOT "shepard"

I have a couple

Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
"Those three words are said too much, they're not enough. If I lay here, if I just lay here, would you lie with me and just forget the world?"

Flaming Lips - Yeah Yeah Yeah Song (With All Your Power)
"It's a very dangerous thing to do exactly what you want, because you cannot know yourself or what you'd really do."

Diamond Rio - Beautiful Mess Yep, a country song, even though I don't like country I like this song cause my boyfriend played it for me :)
"What a beautiful mess Im in spending all my time with you. Theres nothing else Id rather do. What a sweet addiction that Im caught up in, cause I cant get enough."

MERCY ME LYRICS

"In You"

I put my hope in You
I lay my life in palm of your hand
I'm constantly drawn to You Lord
In ways I cannot comprehend

It's the Creator calling the created
The Maker beckoning the made
The bride finding what she's always waited for
When we find ourselves that day

[CHORUS:]
In You where the hungry feast at the table
The blind frozen by colors in view
The lame will dance, They'll dance for they are able
And the weary find rest
Oh the weary find rest in You

It's no secret that we don't belong here
Those set apart by the grace of You
And we look for the day when we go to a place
Where the old becomes brand new

I have a few but the one that I remember right now is "what a wonderful world" by Louis
Armstrong
I see trees of greens
Red roses too
I see them bloom
for me and you,
and I think to myself
what a wonderful world

I don't have just one lyric, but every word in the song..."What A Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong brings me to tears every time I hear it. It's my favorite song of all others and has been for many, many years.

I think my favorites change from time to time. Depending on what point my life stands at...

Right now my favorite would be "Life Ain't Always Beautiful, But It's A Beautiful Ride".

Ooh! I love that song!! I also love "Life's a Dance" by John Micheal Montgomery. "Life's a dance you learn as you go. Sometimes you lead, sometimes you follow. Don't worry bout what you don't know, life's a dance you learn as you go."
