View Full Version : Seeing the Dr
Tomorrow I go back to my Dr for the mammogram and results of my blood tests. Uggggg
I could use some prayers and good wishes on this one. I am anxious to get the test results back, and get this all behind me.
Today for the first time in a long time, my shoulder pain wasn't real bad. It was a nice relief. :) I hope to sleep in tomorrow so I'm bright and clear for whatever news he has for me. Just knowing I have the day off from work is something to look forward to! LOL

I hope you know you're in my prayers too, Tink. All positive thoughts are headed your way. Please let us know how things go....:)
Just got back from my drs appointment. I go back in a bit for my mammogram.
Dr Adams is such a little old wisecracker! He said my blood work was excellent other than my good cholesterol being a bit low, so he offered me a guarantee that I will live at least another hr provided I don't have any accidents lol
Even he was surprised that my blood sugar etc was perfect (both the immediate level and the 3 month one).
He's keeping me off the cholesterol med for a couple more weeks to see if that's what was causing my terrible aching.
My blood pressure now that the pain is better, went from 142/84 down to 106/62 so he was just tickled about that.
He said that's his sure indicator with me of my pain level lol
Dr Adams invited me to call him at home if things should change or get worse. I was shocked. I haven't had any other drs offer that!
So YEEEEHAWWWWWWWW for GOOD news! :D

Oh Tink, that is wonderful news!!! Through all that my family has gone through with my mother-in-law and now her passing, it lifts my heart to know things are good with you. I am so relieved! Thank you for letting us all know the results. I just know the mammogram will be good too. You've made me sigh with relief and smile today.

Wonderful news:) Sounds like you've got a great Dr and you're going to be here for a long, long time!
Thanks Diana! I wish your numbers were this good too!
My good numbers are a result of a good Dr taking the time to get me on the right meds for me. He's not cute... but he's very nice and treats you like you truly matter.
He had a stroke a couple years ago and ended up with balance problems that force him to use a walker now. His mind is still sharp as a tack and he's constantly reading and learning about things to keep on top of his profession, but I'm hearing that his practice suffered considerably when he was sick and so he really values the patients who have hung in there with him. In return we get preferential treatment from him.

So happy for you that your news was sooo good. Your doctor sounds really nice and like a really good one. The stroke probably made him appreciate life even more and be more concerned about his patient's health. Sounds like you are in good hands!!!
