View Full Version : Finally time to relax!
I worked this morning, and don't work again until Monday at 11. I'm SO relieved to have time off!
Hubby should be home tonight; Joel and his girlfriend went away for the afternoon, so it's just Katie and I and the dogs here. She is reading and watching a movie. SIGH... A bit of downtime is just what I need.
It's very cold here... they're "hoping" it will reach a high of -4 today, which is all the excuse I need to just stay home and veg out.
Is anyone else just hibernating and unwinding this weekend?

Unfortunately, I'm hybernating a little. It's in the 50's here, but I hurt my lower back, which is a new problem for me, hopefully very temporary. I took a couple of pain pills that made me very dizzy, so instead of being at a church youth gathering encouraging and supporting them, I've been laying around the house this afternoon.:( I'm hoping this will pass quickly. I'm about to begin working my lesson for the Bible class I'm teaching in the morning.
Melissa & Garrett came down for the youth event, and I wanted to be there. :(
Awwwww Marilyn, I'm sorry you're not up to par!
I hope your back problem clears up real soon. It's no fun hibernating when you're FORCED to! I'll say a prayer for you to feel good again very soon.

Thank you, Tink. I'm a little better this evening. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that tomorrow will be a better day. We got to spend a little time with the kids & were able to go out to eat with them before they headed back to school this evening. They had a young man with them who had to be back home tonight.

Hope you're feeling better this morning Marilyn.
It's 0 degrees here this morning with a -17 windchill. I WANT SPRING NOW!!!! I don't like being cold (of course I don't like being hot either...LOL). I could stand some 50 degree temps right now.

Thank you, I do feel better this morning. Just hope it will last. I got a really good sleep last night. BTW, it's 40 degrees here right now, and predicted to be a high of 65 and sunny!!!! Hopefully the rain is gone for a while. We hate to complain about rain here due to the droughts we've experienced in the last few years, but sometimes there's just get too much rain at one time.
