The weather report for Central Indiana is not looking good. Supposedly, starting tomorrow (Monday) afternoon and ending Tuesday evening...we are under a winter storm warning. We could get 6 - 12 inches of snow.

NO!! NO!! NO!! I don't want that white stuff!!! Please keep your fingers crossed that it just passes by and forgets to snow....please!!!!:)

Snow is so beautiful as long as you don't have to drive in it. :car:

Where is spring when ya need it anyway?? :p

Janet....Be careful if you have to head out in it. :)

I watched the news and a section of NY is blasted. I have NEVER in my life seen people deal with soooo much snow. Well, other than that huge storm that hit Colorado. I truly feel for those who have to deal with snow when it begins to be measured in feet and not inches.

Fingers are crossed (if you think it will really help). Please be extra careful driving (I know that you already are, but thought that I'd throw that in for free!!).

As of this evening the school said they will wait and see what we get...then the dumba$$e$ will make us come back and pick the kids up when it's blowing and crap. They did that one time. I should know by 6:00 in the morning if they will cancel school.

We are getting snow here in Ohio right now...local weather channel says we could see up to 9 inches today plus more tomorrow...No school for kids today and we don't expect them to have any tomorrow either.

We are now in a snow emergency. No one is suppose to be on the roads. Hubby went to work this morning (about 35 minutes from home). He just called and said he was on his way home, so there goes my lazy day...LOL He said it was really bad out there and there won't be anyway to get out tomorrow. Great! I don't like being stuck at home, even if there is no place I need go...lol

Wow, what happens if there if a medical emergency???

I get freaked out if we are too far from really good medical facilities. I've taken my hubby to the emergency room twice when we were traveling. Our home is 5 minutes from a competent trama center, and we've used it a couple of times, once for very critical care.

Scary isn't it. When there is a medical emergency in out county when weather is like this, the ambulance has a snow plow drive in front of them. Not near as fast, but at least they get there.

I'll have to go out (as much as I hate to) and take pictures. The snow is up to my kitchen window. No way to get out of our drive. All we have is a little plow on our lawn mower, so it will be slow going unless one of the neighbors comes to clean us out.

I'm glad you're all safe and doing alright! We've had very little snow in the past few years, but I definitely remember years when that wasn't the case.

One thing you might consider in case the elect does go out, is to have your cell phones fully charged ahead of time so you can at least call for help should you need it.

It's below zero here again, but we really have very little snow. I wonder how deep the frost is going to be given those 2 factors. LOL
