It seems the most popular shoe I see people wearing anymore are the "Croc" shoes....Not to mention almost every color possible.
From those I know who wear them say they are the most comfortable shoe around and they wear almost nothing else.
I have to admit they are not the prettiest shoe around but they've been kinda growing on me.
So, today I ordered my first pair. I ordered the color "chocolate".
My favorite online shoe store ever is Zappo's. Now they are having free over night shipping upgraded.
So, with no sales tax, no shipping, and having the color and size I wanted I just placed an order and they will be here tomorrow. Such easy shopping!
So, how many of you ladies wear these Crocs, and what colors do you have??
I noticed that Zappo's said two new styles are coming out this month and next. I can't wait to see what they will look like. :D

Sure do girlfriend. zappos.com is the website. type in crocs in the search box on their site and it will pull them up. (oh you might have to click on womens after it brings up the crocs.)

I know I'm probably too old for those, but I almost bought a pair when Lynne and I went shopping at Christmas. I really like them. I did see them on someone my age and didn't think they looked bad at all. The kids buy those little doodads (forget what they are called) to put in the holes to fancy them up some.
I'm all for comfort, so I am planning to buy some for summer. I don't like the ones I think they call ballerina style. I like the regular crocs and want a pair of the flip flops.

Janet, NO WAY are you TOO old for these. All ages of folks are wearing these shoes. Both my parents even wear them now as they say they are the most comfy shoes they own. "Im all for comfort!!"
I don't think they are just trendy teenage shoes whatsoever. So...go on out there with your bad self (once that snow melts) and get yourself a pair (or two) !! :D

I may just have to check out the web-site...no, I'd better not. There is a store close in Lafayette that I will go back to. I always need to try everything on first. I like the bright colors too. I also like the navy and the red...maybe even yellow if they have them.
Sorry girls, I am heel person not to high but I have to have at least 2"

Oh Gina... I can't do heels for longer than a couple hours. I wish I could go longer. If I wear heels, I always have a pair of sneakers or sandals in the car for back-up...LOL

I used to love my heels, but few years ago i tore the ligaments (sp) in my foot, so i just can't anymore. If i wear them now, my feet feel like they being attacked by those little green men

My hubby saw something on TV about the woman who started making the little doodads you mentioned. If I have the story correct, she and her children were making them for fun, decided to try to sell them online so started a website, got her parents to helping make them, got so busy, she rented a building and hired help to make them. Her daughter was at the swimming pool when a man saw them and ask her about them. She told him her mother made them. He gave her his card told her to have her mother call him. He bought the business for $2 million. All of this is supposed to have happened in a year to a common housewife. Why couldn't we have come up with this idea??!!

I saw that too, she was on Oprah. The guy at the pool was the inventor/designer of the crocs.

Janet, you're definitely NOT too old to wear them. I have a pair and I really like them and we're about the same age. I have a black pair because I ususally keep my shoes pretty basic. My daughter has a navy pair and a pastel mulit-colored pair. You really should get you a pair. I love them in the summer because I can just slip them on and off.

Mandy I can understand, a few years ago I broke my 5th medatsol bone < not sure of spelling> in my right. It took me about a year to get back into my heels, but luckily I can still wear them, like I mentioned not to high though.

They make such elegant shoe's with heels, all i can do is look at them, and drool LOL... but that's ok, it's just one of "those things" :)
I have the worlds ugliest feet and can't stand anything between my toes, so flip flops are OUT for me.
What makes these shoes so comfy? I haven't seen them other than in pictures, so am clueless.

My Crocs just arrived last night. Right on time, I just LOVE Zappo's Shoes!! Anyway, WOW! These shoes I swear are the most comfy ever. I know these will be the one's I wear everyday except for my Ariat cowboy boots when I ride.
Love the color I got too, thrilled to pieces with them. It's a shame they are so ugly, LOL but ya know...I just don't care what they look like, it's the comfort I go for these days. :p

I go for comfort more too! AND even those they are kind of ugly...they grow on you..LOL I can't wait to get mine. When I feel safe enough to get back to Lafayette, I'm definitely getting a pair. Hoperfully they'll have the flip flops and I'll get a pair of those too.

I copied this from the Crocs shoe description for info purposes... :D
No leather materials used in construction.
Crocs? states these shoes should fit very loosely. The sides of your foot should not really touch the sides of the shoe. Your toes should never make contact with the front of the shoe.
Once you have centered your foot on the foot-bed: You should have about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of space in front of your toes, behind your heel and when you lift the strap you should be able to comfortably get your finger between the strap and heel.
This durable, non-skid, multi- purpose clog is selling to water-sports enthusiasts, hikers, medical professionals, food service workers and fashion consumers.
Made of patented resin that softens with body heat, allowing shoe to mold to the foot for a customizing fit.
Built- in arch support and a back strap for added stability.
Removable back strap.
Resistant to bacteria and fungus.
Ventilation system that allows air and water to pass through multiple ports in side of shoe.
