I fixed a wonderful supper this evening. I fixed a roast in the slow cooker, cheesy mashed potatoes, green beans, and salad. It was soooo good. I only eat a little bit of everything and leave the table still wanting some more. My husband went out to eat with his boss so it was just my son and I. He helped get everything on the table and then helped clean up. He's my buddy, he is!!!

I have lost a total of 16 lbs now. It's going slow, but it's going.

Well done Janet!
Supposedly each 15 lbs lost means one size smaller. You should be seeing the difference now!

I do know my jeans feel a little bigger in the butt and legs. Not enough to change sizes.

Good job on staying on a diet Janet. I would have torn into those potatoes!! I could never go on one of those low carb diets 'cause carbs are my favorite:) I admire people who can stay on a diet.

Well ladies, I'm still on the diet....just not losing any..LOLOL I'm stuck at a weight loss of 20 lbs. I'm still not giving up hope. I know when the weather is better and I'm outside more, that will give me a boost. Like I said, I would sure like it all to be gone tomorrow, but in reality, I'm in no hurry. I want it to stay gone this time.

Its best to lose it slow, that way theres less chance of that "yoyo" effect :)

I think you're so right. That is what has happened all the other times I tried to diet. I'll just take my time this time.

Good for you sticking to a diet and losing 20 lbs. My diets last for about one meal! I am soooooo bad. I know it's bad for me. My cholesterol is up and so is my blood pressure and my knees are gone. Any suggestions?

Janet, losing 20 lbs is a great accomplishment! Way to go hon!
I know from experience that it's harder to lose it that it is to put it on!
I agree you're doing it the smart way and should have an easier time of keeping it off.
