Greg was supposed to be home til Monday, but with this wicked snow storm heading in, he had to leave today to get ahead of the worst of it. Heaven forbid if some store didn't get their furniture!

I am glad he's a wise old buck who knows when it's time to pull over and just wait it out. If he was one of those young cowboys who figures you have to go 65 regardless of the weather, I would be worried all the time!

In the meantime I'm hibernating like a mama bear with no intention of sticking my nose out the door. :p

Glad you have a smart man there Tink. You're right some of these people on the road need to have their license taken away. No common sense whatsoever.

I told my son the first time I ever see him driving without all the windows completely clear and the same with head and tail lights...I was taking away the car. It's just one of many of my pet peeves.

At least you know that he'll be safe. Enjoy cozying up because it might be your last time this season.

Greg called last night and hadn't made it out of Wisconsin. He hit an area where he was only able to drive 35 mph, so decided to spend the night at a truck stop.
He'd heard it was even worse the closer you got to the state line.

I was glad he called and glad he lived up to my faith in him to not risk his life for a load of furniture.

Tink your husband seems like a sensible man, no job is worth losing your life over. Glad to hear that he is safe.

So glad he played it safe for the night. It's not so much you have to worry about him, but those other wackos out on the road who don't know how to adjust their driving to road and weather conditions.

We saw lots of pictures of big rigs stuck in the snow on our news. So glad your hubby is staying safe!!!
