Emilee had her puppies!

I'm so exhausted. She had the first at 12:09 PM and the last of 5 at 2:51 PM.
3 girls and 2 boys. I don't think one of the girls is going to make it. She is stuggling. I've done everything I can to help her, but it's not looking good.
They weighed 2 at 2.6 ozs, 2 at 3.2 ozs and one at 3.0 ozs. The one that is not doing good weighs 3.2 ozs.

I'll try to get on here later this evening, but I'm so tired. I woke up at 4:30 AM for some reason and couldn't go back to sleep.

YEAH!!!!! I had a feeling since you hadn't been on today that you were having puppies. She had them fairly quickly! I'm sorry that one isn't doing too good. I have no experience with newborn puppies, but I'm hoping for the best for her. You and Emilee certainly deserve some rest! Congratulations!!!!! I can't wait to see pictures!

Oh, Janet, how exciting. Hope your little girl pulls through. I know Zoe's breeder (decades of experience) will put a struggling pup in a seperate box with a heating pad. If you want her number to call her for suggestions, please let me know. I'll pm you my phone number just in case.

Congratulations Janet! I just read this post, I answered the other a few minutes ago, and then saw that Emilee gave birth today. I will say a prayer for the girl to pull through. I hope you are all resting. Keep us posted.

I'm sorry to say the little girl passed around 7 PM last night. I'm not sure what was wrong, but the placenta (it didn't look like the others) looked more like intestines.

The surviving four are going great and so is Emilee. 2 have gained overnight and 2 stayed the same. LOL the girls gained...what's that tell us?? :D

I'll try to get pictures today. Emilee is just so protective. She lets me do what I need to, but goes spastic. I try not to upset her more than I have to.

Janet I am sorry to hear about the passing of one of the girls... I am so happy tho that Emilee and the rest are doing great... I can't wait till you post their pictures, you must be in love fur - granny lol what an experience, I wish I lived by you I come visit you guys...... Keep us posted....:)
