**Before I start this post, I must say** Rebecca, everytime I look at your avator I think to myself "she is such a lovely woman!" That picture is very beautiful of you!!

Ok, now on with my post....My Step Daughter and her fiance are coming in late tonight. Just for a little visit, they will be going home Sunday. So the two bedrooms are all cleaned up for them. (I am sooo old fashioned, I make them sleep in seperate bedrooms because they are not married yet. Even though she is pregnant and which clearly is proof that she's having sex LOL, I still don't allow unmarried couples to sleep together under my roof.)

This all comes from a lady who became pregnant at 16 and had to get married. I crack myself up!! :D

So that's about it. I wouldn't say it's exciting but those are our plans, LOL :D

What about you? Anything exciiting?

First of all....that's not me in my avatar! hehehehe That's Natalie Portman. But alot of people say I look like her so I thought it would be fun to have her as my avatar. hehehe

2nd of all, how HILARIOUS that she is prego but you're making them sleep in separate bedrooms. GOOD FOR YOU!!!!

That cracks me up!! You are the second person (that I realize as of yet) that has a picture of someone else on their avator. Marilyn, you know who you are, LOL :D

I don't know who Natalie Portman is.

I know, sleeping in second bedrooms doens't make sense does it? I remember when my hubby and I were dating (both of us being in our late 30's, both divorced from our 2nd marriages, etc, we went to visit his Brother/wife/family. Well, him and I slept in seperate bedrooms their. I feel it's a big respect statement really if anything...

What's funny about him and I sleeping in sepeate rooms is....His Brother had very bad smelling sulfper water. Well, When I woke up and went into the room that my hubby was in all I could smell was the awful sulfpher. I thought to myself "WOW, my boyfriend has tremendously horrible gas. I don't know if I could ever marry a man who smells soooo bad". All this time I blamed him for that smell and come to find out it was the water. Poor guy!!! Him and I laugh about it now.

So...The moral to my story is **You can learn a lot about sleeping in seperate rooms** LOL :D

I forgot my actual post. Oops. This weekend I will be writing a Spanish composition because it's due on Monday and I haven't started yet. (What a slacker!) Other than that, hubby and I will just be hanging out with our friends Ashley and Aaron. We usually have a game night every weekend and it's tons of fun even though it may sound boring. I guess it's all based on who the game night is with... But yeah, that's about it.

Nothing much going on here. In the morning I saw that there's a couple of garage sales (Yeah!!!) that I might run in to. On Sunday I have church and choir practice later in the afternoon. Just a pretty ho-hum weekend.

Now next week......I'll be helping with the Scholastic Book Fair at our elementary school. I'll be there for two full days helping out. A couple of years ago I was in charge of it and so the girl in charge now really appreciates having someone around that knows what's going on. Plus it means that I can eat lunch with my 4 granddaughters who are there. So next week will be busy!

Sheryl, I'd put them is separate bedrooms too. Pregnant or not, I think it is a respect issue as well. It's your house, and you set the rules.

My avator is chickens, now. I tried putting a pic of me on there, but it just did not feel right somehow, so I changed it to something I thought was cute & unique.

This weekend, I'm in for a treat. My family gave me a spa package for Christmas, and I'm going tomorrow. I don't know what all is in the package, I think a massage, manicure, facial, and I'm not sure. It was called the Mistletoe Package, and I'm booked to be there for 4 hours. Hopefully it will be a really relaxing experience. I've had massages before and manicures, but never all at one time at a spa. Tomorrow is my day off, will have to do some laundry some time, but hope to get some of that done this evening so I can relax tomorrow.

LOL ~ It didn't go over too well last night. They know the rules and being here before they slept in seperate bdrms. My step daughter whined and commented on how she's pregnant now, she can't sleep alone, and it's not fair. I think she even had tears in her eyes. **Drama Queen**

I just said, "Too bad - get married - you know the rules".

lol did you guys hit the nail on the head with this one. I'm a stay at home mom. My hubby works as an optician. He has atleast 2 days off a week. I cannot get him out of the house to do anything. I've been told to forget trying to get him out & go out with girlfriends but with 4 kids & being at home it seems they've all disappeared. Anyone have any tips to get a homebody out?

You have a very important and special job staying home w/ 4 kids, managing the house, being a wife, etc. You deserve some "adult time" out and it's important to get some.

Hopefully you have family or a trusted neighbor/friend who can babysit. Then you and hubby slip out for just a couple hours for a nice dinner or show.

Or....Dad stays home, watches the kids and you take yourself out to lunch which includes an indulgent dessert and possibly go shop at a special boutique for something really special just for you. :love032:

Marilyn had a spa day today, A 4 hour pamerping all just for her. Possibly you could get a spa day for yourself. (Oh how I want one of them!!)

Just wanted to report on the spa day. It was incredible. I was there 6 hours. First 1 hour seaweed wrap with facial reflexology, then 1 hour Swedish massage, 1 hour facial & then pedicure with hot lava rock massage and a manicure. I feel so good and relaxed. The only thing was that I left there with oil everywhere. My hair was a mess, so first thing I had to do was wash my hair and clean my face and apply makeup. Just couldn't stand the oil in my hair. I'll shower before going to bed to get more of the oil off, but I'm letting it soak in for a while. They said that the nutrients from the seaweed would continue to soak in for a few hours even though they washed it all off. They kept offering iced water, iced peach or raspberry tea, and I saw one lady with a glass of white wine. It was quite a place. I'd had massages, pedicures and manicures before, but not like this. They really pamper you where I went. It's called the Woodhouse Day Spa and is a franchise. There may be one in your area. Wish some of you could have joined me. The only thing that would have made it better would be a dear friend to share the experience with. There were a couple of ladies there who were friends and they were having quite at time both getting manicures and discussing what they had done there.

Oh, it sounds like it was so relaxing! I would love to go to an all day spa! I went and had a hot rock massage in January and LOVED it. You're making me want to go to the spa! My ex got me a 4 hour spa package for christmas that i haven't used yet but i think I might wait until summer when I can actually show off a pedicure! I started going to a tanning bed yesterday which always lifts my spirits because winter makes me feel so blah... Unfortunately I got a little red in those areas usually not exposed to the sun! I got a tanning accelerator that I used when I was tanning for my high school grad and it smells so summery. It's funny how a scent can take you back to old times. When I used it before I was fresh out of a 3 year relationship and ready to take on the world on my own, and yesterday I got those same feelings back.

That's funny Marilyn because before I started dating my ex my plan was to find a job in the US in one of the southern states and I actually looked at jobs in Texas! I did some checking on it again last week and realized that if I did that now I'd take a huge cut in my salary, but who knows what's gonna happen in a year or two. I think I need some adventure in my life!

Thank you Janet...We went out with a couple of friends then ended up at a social club that we belong to...just for a couple of drinks...well, unknown to me there was a surprise b-day party for me!! hubby and my 2 girls put it on for me...I was so surprised!! I NEVER expected it at all...I was shaking so bad I thought I was going to collapse! There were like 100 people there...we had a blast! I told everyone that I didn't want a party but, I'm glad they did it..I have a great hubby and 2 wonderful daughters....My Mom helped alot too!
