maybe you guys can help me. in september im planning to walk in the 39 mile avon walk for breast cancer, however... i need to raise $1800 in doantions in order to participate. does anyone have any ideas on how to raise the money?
o... and if anyone on here is willing to make a donation PM me and ill send you the info you need to do it.

its for a good cause and i know if i can figure out a way to raise the money people would be willing to spend it to help save a life.. but i jsut cant figure out how.

Why not ask a few of your favorite stores and restaurants and offer to put their logo on your shirt or tank top or whatever it is you will wear? May not be 'free' advertising, but will be seen by many people.

What about family, friends, church family, your place of work...

Those are some great ideas. I think you can buy a kit for printing things on your computer and ironing them on your T-shirt. Corporate sponsors would be a great idea.

Or how about getting together with others who want to participate and have a raffle. A friend of mine printed her own raffle tickets using the sheets for printing business cards. The piece on the left was the stub to put in the tumbler for drawing and the other had the raffle date, items being raffled and a thank you. You could get people to donate things to raffle and sell the tickets in front of Walmart, to people at work. Hey, just a thought.

Are you an avon representative? If so, maybe try a "fundraising auction". Use all your "leftover" Avon supplies (orders ppl never picked up, freebies you recieved, extras you ordered ect) & do an auction with them. Invite coworkers, friends family & tell them all to bring a freind or two. Then make small snacks & "auction of all your Avon.

If you aren't a representative, You could try the same thing with small items from a dollar store & things you never used from home made into cute baskets.
