I'm with you Mandy. I was so hyped up about spring and this morning it's 32 degrees...burrrrr!!!! Won't be back up into the 50's until Monday or Tuesday. I wanted a nice warm weekend so bad.

Even if I could get my butt in a bikini, I wouldn't wear one at home either....LOL...I'd know what I'd look like and believe me, it's not something good...more like something for nightmare theater....LOLOL:eek:

LOL! That's hilarious. :) A little imagination can go a long way...

I really REALLY hope it doesn't get cold this weekend. It has already been rainy. :( I can't wait until it gets warm and stays warm!

Mandy, don't feel too bad. It's none too warm here. The wind is really getting after it, the temps are cold so add that wind and it's even worse yet. Atleast the sun is shining but still. :40: I haven't finished all my flower / herb planting but today's just not a good day weather wise to do that. :( I think tomorrow night we are to freeze again. :cold smiley:

:martini: I like your idea about the tropical beach scene. Make those margaritas for 2 please. LOL :island2:

Its winter again!! yuck.. It is actually coming down as ice, the roads are becoming dangerous to drive. So I am in for the rest of the day and night. What happened to the 70+ weather we had two days ago. That was a tease, winter is back.

Oh well good day to go iron, I have been putting it off.

It's been rainy & gloomy for a day & a half 4 of the 6 of us have the flu (which is actually good news. We thought we had strep :tongue030: So if you find that :island2: enjoy it while I'm :nursing: everyone back to health then I'll join you two  ...Oh & on top of all that it is getting back down to the 30's :fainted: here this weekend & just after all my planting this past week
Hopefully it doesn't kill them all & I get some warm sun back soon.

Sheryl, and Chandra, i hope your flowers/herbs wont freeze during these cold nights, if you can, bring them into the garage or something. It would be a shame if they get ruined!
Chandra, i hope your family feels better real soon, its just no fun to be sick.
Now for the :island2: and :martini: im very ready LOL - so join me :D :D

We don't have a garage. I planted my herbs in a "greenhouse" (a small container I found at walmart that holds 72 plants to start growing). So they will be fine. I also planted Iris, camomile, mint, & blue fesca grass outside. I'm going to try to cover those with something before tomorrow night when the cold is supposed to hit. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?
& thank you very much for the get well wisheshes Mandy :)

Do you have any bubble plastic or hay to cover them up with? I know my mom does it with her plants, and flowers. She also uses hessian (cloth)

I stepped outside to go get the kids and I thought, man this isn't so bad, it's warmer than predicted. Then when I got away from the house and felt the wind blow...it was downright cold. I want spring.....I want spring!!!:)

I know I've heard of "dogwood" & "blackberry" winter all my life but was never sure when they were. Anyone know what we are in now? & how many ,if any, more we have to come before spring has finally sprung?
