I thought since we have weight loss support this might also be a great place for support to quit smoking. I have smoked for almost 20 years, only really quitting with each of my 4 pregnancies. Well you would think if I could do it then I could now. Seems it isn't as easy as it sounds. I could quit when I was pg because it was for their health. Even though I know it still influences their health now it isn't directly. I do have the patch which helps alittle but not as much as I had thought.
Just thought I would see if anyone else is quitting or has quit that may have tips, ideas or that we can help each other through it.

My husband got that pill called Chantex or something like that from the Dr. He got it about 3 weeks ago, but hasn't taken any yet. It is suppose to be about the best when it comes to quitting. I have to get on to him because he'll smoke one right after another. There is no smoking allowed in our house. Don't want my son breathing it in or the Yorkies. I try to make it as inconvient as possible.
I need to quit too. I don't smoke as much as he does, but I need to go get the pill too I guess. Seems like everytime I've tried to quit, something would happen and I would need my crutch. I hate it....I guess I just don't hate it enough to stop completely.

I have smoked since I was 13 years old. I now wish that I had never started but ....
Right now since I am dieting I have to put quitting on the back burner. I am just too nervous of a person to tackle too many obstacles at once.
Plus w/ drinking wine, a cig goes hand in hand with that.
I'm just full of horribly bad habits!! LOL :D

I think that is part of the problem my hubby doesn't see. I am not on my anxiety meds, kids are driving me insane, bills are well BILLS, always so much going on & a cig is a 5 minute break from all that. So if I end up in a nut house you can all blame him for wanting us to quit :p
