View Full Version : Ladies, Animals Need Prayers/Thoughts Also

Hello lady friends. I need your prayers on my horse Teenah. I found out today that her cut on her leg is worse than we thought last week. It clearly shows that her tenden has been cut.

There is no infection and her leg tendon has not been severed completely. However, it is damaged and she is looking at 4-6 months to heal. She will either heal wonderfully and be a perfectly awesome riding horse. OR...She will be lame and never be ridden again. At this time, this is when choices are made to put her down or sold as a brood mare, or a hay eating pet. These are our only options as of now.

Unfortunately I have met this gentlemen who is very interested in buying her. I have been completely honest w/ him about her injury and told him the latest I found out today regarding her leg. Believe it or not, he is still interested in her.

This is where I need your thoughts and prayers. I am a HUGE believer that when we call on our angels to gather around to heal or comfort they will come. I ask of you to call on your angels and be around Teenah during her healing process.

If you could look in Teenah's eyes you will see a horse full of love and care.
This is my horse just last summer I fell from and about lost my life. Not her fault but my own. Now I owe her. I owe her a lot. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Animals are amazing creatures. I truly hope for the best for your precious horse.

May God watch over her as she heals.

May she once again run without pain and be the spirited horse she was.

Aww, I'm so sorry about Teenah! That's so sad. I'm hoping and praying that she will fully and quickly recover. Good luck Sheryl!

I used to have horses, but luckily never had one injured like that.

My prayers are with you both. I hope she heals and you're at peace with whatever you decide to do.

I'm so sorry Sheryl. I can't begin to imagine what this decision must be like for you. & oh poor Teenah. How scary it must be for her. I send my thoughts & well wishes to you both. I hope that you can both heal & return to doing what you both love very soon.

Sheryl, i believe Teenah will be healed 100%. Sending lots and lots of positive thoughts your way, and tons of hugs for you!

Thank you ladies. It's going to be such a long crawl to see if all goes well with her.

Yes Tink I have Wildflower my other horse. She wont be home from her trainer for a couple more weeks so for now I am grounded. I need to call the trainer though and see if it's possible for me to go to her place and ride out there. It's not a biggy right now if I can't.

Thanks again ladies - Luckily she is a very strong and young horse so hopefully she will be 100% sound when this is all said and done.
