Okay, I just wanted to check what I had in the freezer. I open the door, BAM the ice cube trays crash to the floor. Ice cubes and fragments everywhere. I am so sick and tired of cleaning up messes caused by my husband I could screem.

Mine does this kind of crap all the time. I just get so tired of it! We've talked about it and talked about it and it does no good. I just need him to pay attention to what he is doing. If he's not careful this "to death do us part" is gonna come sooner than later.....LOL:D

I would stop filling the trays up. Tell him that if he can't learn to put them in the freezer correctly, then yall arent going to have any ice.

He's the one who filled them up. And I'm the one who needs ice for my tea! I think I may just fill a couple of the cubes with jalopeno juice for revenge!!!!

No, you guys, I'm just kidding. But it sure sounded like a good idea in my head...LOLOL

You need to teach him a lesson! Husbands need to be punished just like little kids. They will get away with whatever you let them get away with! Whenever hubby does something bad, I just tell him, "We'll see....." It makes him wonder what in the h*ll I'm going to do for revenge. Just him thinking about that is the best revenge of all! :p :D :p :D :p

Wow, you need to come here and teach mine a lesson. I could complain about him all day, isn't that awful? He just wasn't brought up the way I was to take care of things so they'll last and just good general cleaning. I wrote in another post that many years ago we separated for a couple of months and when I came back even his underwear drawer had mouse turds in it. Stuff like that doesn't bother him. OOOHHHH it drives me nuts. I'm a perfectionist and you'd think after this many years some of me would have rubbed off a little bit. I do have to give him credit (as much as it kills me) he does tell me how nice everything always looks.

After his father passed his step-mom was in the hospital and I went out to clean their house for her. I've never seen so much crud and clutter in my life. It took me 2 weeks every day from 8:30 am until 5 or 6:00 PM to get it clean and then it wasn't like I would have it at my house. I just don't know how people live like that. In their bedroom, they had socks and underwear in every drawer. Bath towels in clothes drawers. They still had every card ever sent to them, stuffed in every drawer in the house. I could go on and on, but this is what my husband learned. I've just never been able to break him of it. He has brought things in the house that should be in the garage. I just take it and throw it out the back door. He'll never learn. My neigbor who is just a wonderful older lady (been married 60 years) says it won't get better either. Doesn't give a girl much hope for the future does it?

Believe you me, I have my "off the dial" moments too. He just goes to the garage and hides, or sits there with his head down, (pity look) while I go off like a nut case. I still like the idea of men coming with a hook on the back of their neck, so when we're done with them, we can just hang them up in the back of the closet till we need them again.. :D OR maybe they should come with a remote control..that could be fun!!!!

That is so funny!! They can be such big babies. One of my all time favorites is finding his underwear on the bathroom door handle. Meanwhile the hamper is just a few feet away. Maybe i should just throw out all his underwear and make him go commando. Winter's coming soon, that might just work...;)

Y'all are so crazy, but believe me from time to time we all feel your pain. My house is a mess right now. I'm away from the house 11+ hours a day. My husband and daughter, who is still at home, leave after I do, they are home at lunch and some during the day, and are home before me. I can leave in the morning with the house looking pretty good, and when I get home..... I'm embarrassed to describe what I find sometimes. I commented to my husband this evening that "we" are a bunch of slobs, not wanting to point any fingers, because that gets me in trouble. Ya know what his response was, "and isn't it wonderful?"

My husband helps, as I've said in a previous thread. He put a load of clothes in to wash tonight, but he's mostly into project work, not maintenance. If you understand what I mean.

Sorry, but I had to vent a little, too. :warning:

The ice maker helps, but we have one with the dispenser on the front. Cubes overshoot the glass, fall on the floor, and it's just water, right? At least that's the way men seem to think, so the cubes melt into cool puddles, just waiting for your bare feet.

I think I'm just going to make a daily log!! Last night I reminded my husband to put his dirty dishes away. I come back to the kitchen and they are in the sink...GGGRRRR the freakin dish washer is right beside the sink... So while he was outside I put them all back on the table (looked like he finished and left) he came back in and stood there looking for a minute like...duh, didn't I put those away...then he looked at me and said..."oh I get it" and then put them in the dishwasher. I think while I'm on the computer I'm going to make signs and hang them up for him to read....some men just need instructions I guess. :D
