Alright, little confession, I went through an anime/manga faze that I grew out of not long ago. As a result I had a pretty large stash of books that I was doing absolutely nothing with. Well, I finally got around to listing them on eBay and I'm ecstatic!!!
I'm selling them in lots of 7-20 books per auction(depending on the length of the series) and I'm loving it!!
First go round I did 5 auctions and ended up with $250! Since I did so well on those I decided to list the rest of my stuff and the auctions are ending tonight, so far I've got $509!! I'm still waiting on a couple auctions to end so that number is likely to go up a little bit, but so far I'm gotten $759 total for books I had just sitting around!!!
For someone with no money this is absolutely amazing and makes me wonder what else I could try to sell on there!!!

I love e-Bay!!! I buy quite a bit of stuff from there and I've sold some stuff too. A couple of Christmas's ago I sold a bottle of perfume that I paid $1 for at a garage sale and sold it for $232.50!!!! I was sure excited!!! I sure keep my eyes open for another one when I'm out at the garage sales!
That's really impressive!! So exactly what kind of books are you selling?

e-bay is a favorite of mine. I'm glad to know you're having a ton of success - it's a great way to make extra $$. I buy and sell all the time; however I'm buying more than I'm selling these days.
 Well done Lissa! I'm glad it went well for you.

Lissa that is great!!! You almost have enough for a puppy!!!...:D :D :D
I haven't bought anything from ebay for quite some time. I think the last I bought was an x-pen for the doggies. I tried selling a doggie coat on there once and didn't get one bid. I may have to look around here and see what else I have that the shipping wouldn't be too high on. Can always use some extra cash.

Gina, here is a link to e-bay for perfume that is like what I was selling. I had mine listed to end a week before Christmas so I still had time to get it mailed to be a gift. I didn't have the box with it either, just a full bottle of perfume. I sold a couple of other things and made over $300 all together. I didn't think that was too bad considering that I had $3-4 invested in them. I haven't found anything lately that I want to part with to sell on e-bay, but I'm still looking! I've also had some things that didn't sell too well. I try not to remember them. LOL
