I can't believe my co-workers. They come to work and gossip all day and play card games on the computer and the boss lets them. Then there are us that
actually work and don't get anything in return.

I feel your pain. In my office there is this group that laughs loudly, chats and does absolutely nothing all day. My cubicle is right next to them and it is so annoying. Management does nothing because we are city employees and if they say anything to the loudmouths they just go complain to the union. They give city workers a bad reputation. Sometimes I just put my ipod on to block out the noise. It is horrible!!

Welcome!! Your management may be well aware of the situation, but their hands may be tied.
It's tough and frustrating for all these days.

Don't worry. The management is WELL aware of their lack of work. AND they notice that you are working. They will get what is coming to them. I promise. Just laugh and shrug it off. ;)

I know how hard this must be for you. I always found it hard too, but management does know..how can they not? An anonymous note may help you feel better, knowing that they know. Just keep busy doing what you are suppose to and time will go faster and you won't notice it as much.

There's also a little something called "annual evaluation" - believe me, if an employee is not doing his/her job, it SHOULD be reflected in their annual evaluation - which "hits" in the wallet! Your management could very well be aware of their job performance (or lack thereof) and will take care of it on evaluation day. But....as someone else suggested, if you are in doubt, send an annonymous note.
