Hi! As some of you may remember, I've recently returned to school.

Anyway, one of our professors had us go around the room and answer the following two questions as a way of getting to know one another. I thought it would be fun if we answered them here too.

1. What is your biggest accomplishment so far?

2. What is one interesting or unique thing about you?

1. What is your biggest accomplishment so far? My marriage to my husband and my education (can I have 2??)

2. What is one interesting or unique thing about you? Hummm...let's see...not too many things. Well, I worked for the United States Senate as an Intern in 2004. It was very interesting to meet all the people that you hear about all the time in the news....Hillary Clinton, Joe Liberman, Elizabeth Dole, John McCain, Ted Kennedy, ect. ect.

Wow this is a hard one. I have 2 accomplishments. 1. I have been married for 12 years. Despite what some may say I still think a marriage takes some work on both sides 2. Having my Daughter and managing to NOT screw up the way my own mother did!

As for something intresting?? Wow. That one I will have to think about. Nothing unique comes to mind.

1. What is your biggest accomplishment so far?
Probably raising my son. I'm very proud of how he is turning out.

2. What is one interesting or unique thing about you?
Don't know if it's really interesting or unique, but I use to back semi-trailers to the docks at the factory I use to work at. And if it's legal and safe...I am game to try just about anything....twice if I like it...LOL

And the thing is, now he's in like a size 22! He was at LSU the same time hubby's 2 younger brothers were there. They were managers of the basketball team and got to be great friends with him - and they stay in touch to this day. The shoes were supposed to be a "joke" to us but they've turned into a great conversation piece. The story behind them is that they were special made for him, he put them on, walked around in them and didn't like the way they felt so he was going to throw them away. One of hubby's brothers asked him autograph one of them and he wanted to give them to his brother as a joke so he did. He actually signed 2 pair because Shaq remembered they had 2 older brothers so DH and his older brother each got a pair. The boys used to love to put them on when they were toddlers and walk around in them - looked like clown shoes on them (and me too!!).
