URGH!!!! Sometimes it's all just too much! I wish i could move to an island and be all alone, no kids, no phones, no doorbell, no nagging, no nothing! Only thing i would take with me are my fur kids!!
It all becomes so old, same thing day in and day out, clean, cook, laundry, grocerie's, take care of all the other crap. Ewwww ive just had it YUK!!!!!

I think we all go through the blues when we see summer going have just been talking to a friend who is feeling the same. If you are like me the idea of Christmas around the corner makes me so depressed. More work spending money we do not have ahhh.

Tell me about it!! Hubby was working his 24 hour shift at the fire department last night, both boys had quite a bit of homework, oldest is also studying to take his driver's test today, had to fix them something to eat, laundry, and take care of my furbabies. When you find that island and head to it, let me know - bags are packed and I'm ready to join you!

Oh you guys....I don't like winter either, but I love wearing long pants, sweats, and having a fire in the fireplace. I don't like snow and I hate the thought of being without my son. That will come too soon the way it is. I'd love to go to an island with you, but if I take all 5 dogs, I'd be walking in "s*i* before ya know it. Better be a big island!!! Serve my husband right if I left the dogs with him...LOL:)

I'm with you, Janet. I love the winter time. I love bundling up in warm clothes and sitting my the fireplace and watching football with hubby and cooking and entertaining for people when they come over to watch football. And I LOVE Christmas. I am like ya'll....hate spending money during Christmas. So, what my family has been doing for years is that we all get each other ONE Christmas present....no more than 1. Then we do volunteer work as a family. I love giving back during the holiday season. It is very rewarding.

My family should do that. It sounds great. I truly love the feeling I get from helping someone else more than receiving a gift. :)

Would finances allow you to have someone come in and help one day a week or maybe everyother week for just a few hours? Just so you can go out and pamper yourself a little bit. I did that a few times and it was great. Sometimes I just needed to get out alone for a little while. :)

Wouldn't it be great if we could all meet on an island and just sit back, have a few drinks, feel a warm breeze, smell the tropical flowers and whatever we complained about everyone would be in agreement.....LOL:)
