It's been a busy week for me. I've been on here but have been too tired to make a post about what all's been going on. Anyway, here goes.....
Last Friday my #2 daughter graduated from college with a degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I'm so proud of her because she is the first in my family to graduate from college. We had a few family members who went over to watch the graduation so I prepared supper for everyone at her apartment so help save time and money. I had everything pretty well prepared in advance and we even had a little bit of time to go to a greenhouse and pick up some flowers to plant here at home. After the graduation, cleanup, the drive home, and cleaning out the Tahoe, I finally made it to bed at 1:00.
The next morning we had city wide garage sales here in town so I went to a few of them. I was real excited about an antique mirror and a portable dog kennel (the soft-sided kind). I got a few other things but not too much.
That evening we had a high school graduation party for my nephew. It was really nice and they had LOTS of food. We were teasing Luke that we knew what he was going to be eating all next school year while he's at college! He is a really super nice kid. He's a good christian and has been a really good guy for everyone to look up to at school.
Monday I started driving the tractor for my husband. He's going to be rushed in a few days with trying to get the ground worked and everything planted. The rain has been wonderful but hasn't allowed us to get into the fields. So I'm helping out. I had to quit at 1:30 to go to my granddaughter's awards assembly at school and take pictures because their mom and dad had to go out of town and missed it. I was so proud of my girls!! They always get a lot of awards!! Then it was back to driving the tractor!! I also drove the tractor yesterday and probably will be for awhile. So if you don't see me on here you'll know that I'm probably in the tractor with the radio turned up and driving back and forth, back and forth across some field in Kansas!!!
Here's some pictures:
1. My granddaughters at the awards assembly- Kiley, Kera, Karley (Kiley and Karley are my son's twin daughters--Kera is my daughter's daughter)
2-3 The tractor that I'm driving. To give you some perspective-I'm not as tall as the tractor tires!!
