I ordered a camera!!!

I am so excited! After much help from you guys, other friends, research, and my credit card company, I finally ordered a Canon A560, a memory card, and a cheap, but good enough printer, and am waiting for it to be shipped from Circuit City.

Special thanks to you, Val, for your in depth research and professional advice, and for your caring help.

You guys are going to get very tired of looking at pictures of Max, but I can't go on forever, so bear with me please.

Has your new camera come yet Judy? Unless I missed a thread I didn't see if you did or not. I've been trying to take some pictures of the dogs, but it has a slow something (when you press the button, but takes awhile to take the picture). It's so irritating. Hope your new one doesn't do that. I paid $249 or $349 (don't remember which), but I'm disappointed only on that feature. Everything else the camera offers I'm thrilled with. I just miss a few special shots I would like to get.

I wonder if there's a setting for that which could be changed. Did you search through the instruction manual? Some companies also have very good tech service
over the phone.

I did get my camera, and have taken some pix, but haven't been home long enough to sit down and figure everything out yet. It comes with 3 different manuals!

I do love it - it's very easy to work with. I have to download the prgram onto my computer so that I can post the pix.
