I'm leaving work at NOON today, in about 30 minutes, and hubby and I are going to the Auburn v. LSU football game in Auburn this weekend! Both of us graduated from Auburn, so needless to say, we are huge fans. This is supposed to be a huge game because both teams are VERY good and this game will likely determine who will win the SEC West and get to go to the SEC Championship. So, I'm excited about my weekend!
What are YOU doing this weekend?

Don't feel blue. That is what I do almost EVERY weekend. It is a rare occassion that we are doing something this weekend. But, my husband doesn't have to work this weekend (which is rare) and we happened upon FREE tickets, which are going for $200 on Ebay. So, we just couldn't pass up this opportunity.

Well, not exactly sure but I KNOW where I'll be at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon!!! Parked on my couch, surround system set on "stadium", on ABC, watching the game you are going to :D Make me a sign to hold up for the cameras! And, sorry Rebecca, but you know I gotta pull for the LSU. You're right - it should be a great game - at least that's what I'm hoping for!! Have fun!

Not at all! You can't be a true Auburn fan and pull for Alabama just as I can't be a true Alabama fan and pull for Auburn. I'm just glad that we can joke with one another about it and still remain friends! I've seen friendships "ruined" because of ballgames - life's too freaking short for that to happen - and it's not like they had their azz out on the field playing to contribute to the win or the loss!!! Anyways, I hope you have a BLAST!!! I know you will :)

I know what you mean! Don't get me wrong, I love Auburn football, but I don't care enough about it for friendships to be ruined over it. Every team has their season. Alabama has had PLENTY of seasons. I'm just glad that Auburn is finally getting their chance to shine. But I am sure the ball will be back in Alabama's court before we know it.

Since I'm not a big sports fan, I will probably clean a little, shampoo family room carpet. try to sew a little, give the babies a bath, would love to be able to clean out my van, maybe the garage too, but I doubt if half that stuff gets done. The boys will be gone again Scouting this weekend so I may end up here and napping...LOL. :D

My weekend is boring. I get to clean my house, but not do any laundry because I can't get my washer fixed until Monday now  I've got to start some calculations on the structural design of a three-story art gallery for my final project for school :( And in between I get to hang out with my puppy :)

If you don't mind my asking, what years did you attend there? Hubby's 2 younger brothers were in school there when Shaq was playing for the Tigers. Do you go to any of the baseball games? We drove down this past season for the LSU/Bama game (triple header, we came down for the Saturday game). If you do and we go to another game next season, we'll have to meet up and maybe "tailgate" before the game!

Housework!! But we are having a gospel meeting at church so the evenings will be spend there. That is a highlight for us.  We have a really good guest speaker. His lesson last night was so well prepared and presented. It's a very special time when you can sit together with friends and loved ones and hear the Word of God preached & grow as a result.
