I love barns. If i had the money I would fix one up to live in. I'm just a country girl what can I say. I also like to collect barn things.

I'm obsessive about too many things. My obsession is having to have everything done right and when they are suppose to be done. Things where they are suppose to be. Cleanliness, respect. I am just an obsessive freak at times. I do find though that the older I get I am tending to lighten up... I think that's a good thing. :)

I am obsessive about numbers. If I am copying numbers or doing some computation, I check them over like 20 times!! If someone gives me a telephone number or any other number to write down over the phone I have them repeat it to me and I'll read it back to make sure I copied it correctly. I am so weird:rolleyes:

I obsess over little silly things.
My keyboard and mouspad must be in exactly the right position in order for me to use them; my ashtray has to be in it's "spot"; my desks work area must be arranged just right; I can't STAND a dirty bathroom; etc.

I would LOVE for my house to always be shiny clean, but realize that when it is I become psycho about keeping it that way. I seriously become hard to live with because every little thing that's moved or left out sends me into a rage. So if it's only passable I don't mind other people messing it up as much.

I guess mine might be more of an addiction than an obssession but I just LOVE Merrell shoes!!! I have close to 15 pair in my closet and have already picked out 3 pair I want for the fall! I just can't have enough pairs of those shoes! I actually have a pair on right now, so comfortable!!! And the other would be, probably Gone With The Wind related items. Before kids, I collected a lot of original things from the movie (posters, programs, lobby cards, first edition book). I still collect but not like I used to.

Well for me it's hard i have OCD (really) I am a door checker i have to check my door several times before i go to bed to make sure it's locked and if i can't remember i have to get out of bed and check it again. I'm also obsessed with bad food i won't eat chips after the first day opened i won't eat anything in the fridge that has been there for a while ( cheese) I'm compulsive about expiration dates i have to get the furthest expiration date possible and consume the food fast also i won't drink or eat off of anything someone else has even my own kids if someone takes a sip out of my drink i tell them to take it or i throw it away. OMG i sound so horrible!! There are a ton of other things i'm obsessed with but thats enough for now LOL don't want you all to know how weird i am just yet:D

My husband is the door checker in this family. My son and I will watch him check the door on the garage, then he'll look in the garage window, check the door again and then look in the window. He'll do this about 5 times at least before he'll come on into the house.

We must have been separated at birth. I don't like eating or drinking after anyone either. I go so far as I will wash my son and husbands underwear together, but I wash mine separate. I don't want any of their poop stains washing off onto my underwear. Weird aren't I???

So do I. It makes my mother wonder where I came from. She said no one else in the family has all these qirks that I have. I told her it probably came from when we were little, she'd make my little brother take a bath and told him to leave the bath water for me. GROSS!!! My brother was a little snot sometimes and would tell me he peed in it. Mom would say "he's just teasing, get in there." So I would pretend I took a bath and washed in the sink. I just don't trust anyone's cleanliness as I do my own...isn't that awful?

As far as cleaning obsessions----I have to load the dishwasher a certain way, if my dh does it, I usually open it up & look & switch stuff around! lol! I have no idea why!:D

My other obsession or addiction is collecting I Love Lucy/Lucille Ball memorabillia! I can spend hours on ebay looking for stuff & then if I can actually buy something I can spend hours looking for the perfect thing to buy! lol!:p

I am so picky about the dishwasher too. I rearrange it all the time, because neither of the boys do it right. I just want them to make sure they put the stuff in their, I don't mind rearranging it before I start it.

I don't collect much of anything, really. I do have Lucy's biography that they found she had started after she passed. I think her daughter Lucie and someone else finished it.

I have a bad cleaning obbsession. My doctor put me on prozac because it got so bad I wouldn't let the kids get any toys out I couldn't sit for a few minutes without making a list of what base boards and windows I had left to clean. On the weekends I didn't want to go anywhere, I felt I needed to be home cleaning. We had a cleaning lady coming in 2 aweek(my husband thought it would help) but it drove me nuts. She didn't clean the way I do so as soon as she would leave I would go crazy redoing everything she did.

The prozac has helped as far as allowing the kids to play and leaving on the weekends. However I still spend atleast 5 hours a day cleaning.

My biggest obsession I think is plucking hairs! I pluck my eyebrows no less than 2 times a day: when I wake up and before I go to sleep. If during the day, I'm studying or watching tv or something and I feel a little hair coming in I go pluck it immediately, I can't even think of anything else until that hair is gone. I had a boyfriend once with ONE little hair sticking out the middle of his back. He wouldn't let me touch it, so while he was sleeping I took out my trusty tweezers and plucked it. He was not happy.
Luckily though, I never go crazy with it. I don't OVERpluck my eyebrows, just keep them neat looking :)

I guess the only thing I really OBSESS over is my routine. I like to get up at exactly the same time every day, go to bed at the same time, don't like to stop on the way to or from work. If something happens to mess with my routine before going to work, I have an awful day! I hate CHANGE.
