Tonight I am photographing a wedding with my friend (and also my own wedding photographer!) Lauren. I always get so nervous when it comes to stuff like this, but at least I know that if my pictures turn out awful, they'll still have amazing pictures from Lauren! LOL!

Anyway, I'm excited and nervous, but very much looking forward to it. Wish me luck. :)

Thanks for the encouragement! The wedding went well and we were able to get some really cute shots. :) Unfortunately, the groom was just awful to work with. He would NOT smile EVER. He would let us take about five pictures before he'd say "okay, that's enough" and walk away. He was just overall not a very pleasant person. The bride was lovely and wonderful, happy and bubbly, and jumped on every opportunity to get more pictures. Oh well, maybe next week's wedding will have a happy bride AND groom...

Here are two of my favorite pictures of the bride. I think I like them because her personality really shines through. The third is one of the only pictures of the groom where he doesn't look like he wants to kill someone...

The bride looks like she's having a good time, but in the last picture the groom doesn't look very loving towards her. See how his arms are at his side. I went to a wedding a few weeks ago where the groom was like that, not cooperative. It was an outside wedding and he wore his sunglasses the whole time. Finally the pastor asked him to take them off when he kissed the bride. None of us was surprised because we knew the groom's personality. The bride just smiled and enjoyed herself anyway!

PS--Nice pictures!!!

The pictures are lovely and is the bride.! Good job Angie.

The groom looks handsome - I hope they're happy even if he's a misery.

Thanks Diana and Judy. I just hope his negative attitude was caused by the stress of such a big event and that he's not always like that.

Anyway, glad you like the photos. :)

Great pics, Angie. Looks like the groom has a wonderful wife. Hopefully she's also a good judge of character and he was just stressed.

Thanks so much guys, but I'm sure any of you could've done just as well. :)

I think the thing I like most about weddings is seeing the couple so happy. That's why I like taking the pictures, but this one was just so stressful trying to get the groom to cooperate.

Speaking of married couples...lately, Brendon and I have been very blessed to be able to spend time with a lot of other young married couples and it's been so much fun! This weekend, our friends from Charlotte, NC are visiting and staying with us so our house has been the "hang out/catch up" place for everyone (including a few people we didn't even know). We had about 30 people over last night!!! YIKES! But it's fun. :) Sorry to go off topic, but I'm just so excited right now...and I ramble when I'm excited. lol. :o

That's a lot of people to have over at one time! I'm proud of you for being such a good hostess!

LOL! Thanks. :) Everyone was just so excited to see Jeremiah and Rachel (our friends from out of town). We all went out to eat first so at least we didn't have to worry about cooking for everyone! Also, not everyone was here at once. There were kind of two sets of people...the early group and the late group. There were a few that stayed the whole time, but a lot dropped by for an hour or so and then left.

Now I'm off to a party at my friend Lauren's house (the photographer I mentioned earlier in this post). I don't know if my life will ever slow down, but at least it's fun! :)
