Well, looks like y'all have been very busy posting in my absence & I have lots of catching up to do. We returned this week from a three week vacation to Europe. It was an awesome trip. All 4 of us went (me, hubby and out two daughters) and had a wonderful time. We flew to Rome and traveled through Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, Luxemburg, Northern France, Edinburgh Scotland, and down through England to London & flew home from there. We are much more knowledgable of European history and culture than we were before this trip. It was an incredible experience. The country is beautiful and the people for the most part were very friendly. However, most everything is much more expensive there than here, often times double the price. I'll try to post some select pics. I took over 1000 pictures, so I won't bore you with them all. ;)

We got home on Monday and returned to work on Tuesday. Melissa moved back to her college on Wednesday, and Karen moved to her's today. So we had three weeks together and they flew from the nest. Here we are this evening just the two of us and not sure what to do. It's really strange. This is the first time they are away at school at the same time. I know it is best, and they are where they need to be. Wouldn't want it any differently, but honestly, I'm not handling it well at the moment. I know it will get easier.

Sorry, I'm turning this post into a blog. I'll have to read more of your threads and find out what you've all been up to. I just got my body clock back on central standard time, so I'm awake in the evenings now. Glad to be back among all of you wonderful ladies!!!!!

I can't wait to hear more of your trip and see the pictures. I'm so glad you're back. I've checked in here from time to time and have posted some, but have not been here as regular as before. I'm going to try and change that...lol

So happy you had an experience of a life time and looking forward to learning more about your trip.

I've been wondering where you've been! We had no idea that you had "flown the coop" and left the US. You're going to have to post lots of pictures and tell us what all you did to make up for ignoring us for that long!!!LOL I'm glad that you're back all safe and sound and had a good time! AND I'm looking forward to hearing from you a little more often!!!!!

Still trying to get caught up on things and adjusting to having an empty nest. With all the rain in the area, the high coastal humidity and the mold around, my allergies have kicked in big time since we got back. There is even mold growing on our house, and a mushroom is peeking out of an expansion joint in the driveway.

I didn't tell you all that we were going because with a little bit of computer savy, you can figure out who I am and where I live, so thought it best to not advertize in an open forum that we would be gone for an extended time. A couple of people on here knew just in case y'all got too concerned.

I'll try to post pics soon. Will probably put them on Photo Bucket or Snap Fish or something and provide a link. The resolution is too high to post on here with the 195.3 kb limit for jpg.
