I'm going to start posting here more, I promise :) I do read almost every day at work but I just haven't really had anything to talk about, but I've got a story now!
Yesterday I was so tired and I was planning on just sitting at home all night and relaxing. My roommate was also just going to sit at home, maybe watch a movie with the new guy she started seeing, Shaun. I was sitting at work just waiting for 5:00 to roll around.... then my roommate sent me a message saying I'll never guess what her new plans are. I asked what and she said "Shaun's boss just gave him two free tickets to the Beyonce concert tonight!!!" and I laughed because she's just this little country bumpkin who only likes country music! But she said hey, they're free tickets and she had nothing better to do! So it was just gonna be me and the dog at home all night.
I was just getting ready to go home, it was 4:50, and she messages me again "My boss just emailed everyone saying she has two free tickets to Three Days Grace tonight! Too bad this Beyonce thing came up because I would much rather go there!" and I was like "Oh Kyle and I were supposed to go to that but he thought he had hockey tonight! It was just cancelled this week so we didn't get tickets!" Her next message was "I just talked to my boss.. the tickets are yours!"
The concert started at 6 so I called Kyle and we both rushed home and went out there! Mariana's Trench, which is pretty much my favorite band EVER was also playing, and Social Code (also love them) and another band I'd never heard of. They all had 1-hour sets. We had to leave for the band I didn't know because Kyle had a hockey meeting but we got back just in time for Mariana's Trench :) It was just like the best night EVER that came up out of nowhere :D

Teeheehee Greg would only go if someone else would take the fish off for him. ;)
He doesn't mind worms, but can't stand the feel of fish!
