Where did the time go?? It seems like last week I was complaining about the sweltering hot weather, and now I'm already scraping frost off my windshield before I leave for work in the morning! I just noticed this morning the mix of green and yellow on the trees down my street, and the leaves already falling. I cross the river on my way to work and all the trees and bushes were beautiful colors! I think this weekend I'll go for a walk down there and take some pictures, and if I do I'll be sure to share them with you all!

I know how you feel. It's hard to believe that it's fall already. My daughter looked out the window yesterday and commented on all of the leaves that are falling already. I know that I'm ready for a little cooler weather.:) I bet that it really changes fast as far north as you are.

The daytime change isn't so drastic, but the overnight temperatures dropped pretty quickly! It started freezing about a week ago... in fact my parents even got SNOW where they live! It melted as it hit the ground though. I like this time of year because it gets me so excited for Christmas! I'm such a dork when it comes to Christmas, I start thinking about it in probably July!
Last year I was contemplating moving to Arizona for work after I graduated college. I threw the idea out when I got a boyfriend (I always tell myself to stop changing plans for guys!). But now I'm glad I didn't because I really think I'd be getting anxious for cooler weather and snow!
Lindsey, I'm like you about Christmas. I was thinking this morning that I have to start my Christmas shopping soon! LOL
I couldn't live where there's not snow for Christmas. It would just ruin it for me.

Yup, summer is done, and over with way too quick!! Leaves are changing color, and falling already here too, and it's getting cold, can feel the air is changing for sure.

For me, summer ends when school starts, no matter how warm or cold it is...so my summer was over several weeks ago unfortunately...
I always look forward to Christmas too, but not the cold weather that comes along with it! I definitely prefer warm weather! :D

Hehehe I like the cooler weather for awhile and then the snow right before Christmas. If it could just warm up and be spring again in January that would be great :D

LOL! I'd be okay with a little bit of snow ON Christmas and warm weather for the rest of the year. :p

It's been really pretty here too. I love the fall weather. This week though the temps have climbed back up to the very high 80's. I prefer it in the high 60's to mid 70's. So much nicer to be out working in the yard and not getting overheated.
I wish I could get as excited as you all are about Christmas. It really going to be different this year without hubby's side of the family. Gonna have to see if I can still get everyone together somehow...someway!
Janet, with your job I wouldn't be eager to see snow either!
That's one of many tough things about losing our older generations... they've often been the ones keeping the families together for holidays and once they're gone if no one picks up that job, you do miss out. KUDOS to you for wanting to do that! It is extra work, but well worth the effort.

Fall is my favorite time of the year. Harvest. The fresh air. I'm glad I don't have allergies. Great sleeping at night with the window open.
