Brendon came home from school this morning and gave me a "flower". lol. He picked a morning glory from a fence outside and told me he thought it was beautiful and wanted to brighten my day. How sweet is that!?!? I know it's just a morning glory, but it just melted my heart. Is it silly to feel this way over something so simple?

That is SO sweet!! It doesnt have to be an expensive gift, or a big bouquette of flowers to brighten your day, just a simple little flower says it all. :)

Angie, it's never silly to appreciate feeling loved. What's sad is when we can't/don't.

You are right Tink. Sometimes I just get embarrassed because I feel like a schoolgirl with a crush, you know? :o

Enjoy it hon!
That's a feeling we should all have far more often than we do.

Very true! It's also wonderful to know you've given someone that feeling. Hmm, this is making me want to go write a sweet letter to brighten someone's day or something...

Maybe we could have a 4wt challenge where we all try to intentionally do something nice for someone in our lives at least once a day? I think the world needs a few more smiles... :)

That was sweet of Brendan. It shows that he was thinking of you. I've learned to really appreciate little gifts like that, not every thing has to be bought and paid for.
