And scary!!

It was on the news lastnight that in a little town up north, a very touristical place with no forgeign influence, meaning, theres only dutch people living there, have their kids, 10 - 11 years old using coke!!

Now come on, where are the parents? Where/how do they get the money to buy the drugs?
When you see the town, it's very pretty, on the harbor with only old fishermans houses, you would never ever in your wildest dreams imagine drug abuse there?!
I was totally shocked - this makes me sick! :thumbdwn:

Wow! That's awful!! Hopefully now that there has been some TV coverage, someone will put a stop to it, whether the parents or police or whoever...

That's awful young to be using drugs. I hope that someone gets some help for the kids. Where were these kids parents?

I hate drugs, i know very little about it, and wouldnt know what it looks like, if it bit me. It's terrible for adults to be adicted, but for kids that age? What will ever become of them? Poor kids.

Coke is dangerous for an adult brain. I can't imagine what it will do to those young little brains! The human brain isn't even fully developed until age 7.

That's such a bizarre story!

It's frightning Judy, and to know my own son, of 16, goes out with friends, not seeing what they get up to, i can only pray to God we educated him enough to stay far, and very far away from all the evil stuff.

I'm sure you did. You would know anyway if he was using drugs. He's almost past the stage of experimenting. They start a bit younger in NYC.

It's hard to be the mother of a teenager though. It can be frightening when you think of the things they can do.
