View Full Version : New Pix Of Gracie Leigh And Max
These aren't fabulous pictures, but they'll have to do.
They're doing great. They play all day, fight over toys, and are still fighting over dominance. They play nicely sometimes and I'm hoping that will grow.
I'd have to say that overall they get along nicely considering that she's only been here about 3 weeks. Max is slowly getting over his jealousy. It will take more time, but so what?
Little one is learning to go on the pads nicely. Of course, there are still accidents, but she'll get there. I give her a lot of freedom because I decided it's more important that they learn to get along and interact than to keep her close to me so that I could train her. I think Max would have been too jealous and a bit confused.
She desperately needs a haircut around the face, especially the eyes, so she looks a bit messy. She's a pretty little girl though, and what a thick coat!
I have to say - I am so happy - I love them both so much.

Oh Judy she is such a pretty little girl, and how good of Max to already be playing with her, in time to come, they will be the best of friends. Max is a real sweetie pie for putting up with "little girl nonesense" ;) Both your babies are totally adorable, i love seeing pics of them.

Oh Judy, she's so gorgeous! What a lovely little girl you have! I'm so happy to hear that Gracie and Max are getting along better. They just needed time and I'm sure with more time they'll be completely inseparable! :) Keep us updated with pictures and stories. It really makes my day! :D
About an hour ago, they both fell asleep on the floor. Max had his leg over her shoulder. It was so sweet!

Gracie Leigh is soooo cute!! I bet that you're just having a blast with the two of them. I've started asking my husband for another one but so far he just avoids answering me! When I point it out he just laughs and still doesn't give me an answer!!! He's so ornery!!!! Anyway, thanks for the pictures!!!
Start hanging cute puppy pictures on the fridge. That might get his interest!

Or even better...take him to SEE one! He'd never be able to turn down a cute little yorkie face...or those yorkie puppy kisses!! :D

I'm afraid that he remembers all the little poops and little pee spots around the house. My husband likes a nice and neat home and indoor dogs don't figure into that picture. He grew up in a home where he was too embarrassed to have friends over. It was really bad and his Mom still has a big problem with a clean home. I'm not talking a little mess but a HUGE mess where you back a truck up to the back door and clean for days! So I understand where he comes from on saying no to me.
Well, a good marriage is made up of compromises. Maybe you should live vicariously through other people's pets.

I'm not giving up yet. My husband is a softie so I think he'll eventually give in or he's going to have to give me a definite NO. You know, Christmas is getting closer!!!!
Try to just "drop into" a pet store and see if you can get a puppy into his arms.
That sweetness is irresistible.
