View Full Version : Did you know that Marty is part spider?

I had forgotten about these pictures until I was looking through my photos just a few minutes ago!

So I climbed up on the kids' playground just to be silly...and Marty decided to try to follow me! None of us expected it so it really scared me at first, but he didn't fall slip, much less fall.

He would go up about 3/4 of the way then he'd turn around and "run" down and then try again. He tried about 10 or 15 times and it was one of the cutest things I've ever seen. (We had someone stand beside him to make sure he wouldn't fall after the first time!) And the crazy thing is, he actually CLIMBED. He would stand on the footholds and then hop to the next one and pull himself up! I wonder if he was afraid I was stuck? :confused:

These are from tonight and I just couldn't help but share them.

The first is my favorite. He looks so majestic or something... (Maybe I'm just biased though) :p

Then he was tired of taking pictures, but took more anyway. Poor little guy... :o

*Edit-Marty wanted me to tell you to overlook his messy hair. He was playing rough with Daddy before we pulled out the cameras.* ;)

In the first pictures it looks like Marty just wanted to be where you are at. If he's like Reuger you never get very far from his site. That's really cute!!!

I like the middle picture of Marty. He's such a cutie!!! Don't ya' just love yorkies!!!!!

OMG those pictures are priceless Angie!!! He is a real sportsman, a super duper athlete. Yorkies have most definatly got that "attitude" about them, i love it... they feel superior LOL

Thanks everyone! Maybe he got bitten by a radioactive spider at some point...:confused: lol

Diana, yes Marty is definitely like that. He doesn't like to be more than two feet away from me or Brendon. We would never have to worry about him running away cause he'd never want to be out of our sight. It's precious!

Chanel is like that, she is like velcro - but Chelsey is something else, she thinks everyone is her friend, human, furry, and feathered, which is scary! Usually when we out taking them for a swim or walk, Dounia keeps them inline, and chases other dogs away from her, but still... gotta watch her like a hawk.

Angie...Marty is adorable..so handsome. Looks like he does have some spider-blood in him doesn't it. In the second set of photos I like the 2nd one...love the looking out of the corner of his eye look...lol

OMG - those climbing pics of Marty are incredible. Honestly I never knew Yorkies could climb like that. He is so darn adorable. If he is part spider, he's the cutest spider I've ever seen. :p

I agree. I don't think I've ever seen a spider that I've thought was cute, until now! :)

What a sweetie! Does he like to go down the slide with you too? Bowser thinks that's a treat. How much does he weigh?

It's been a long time since I've tried going down the slide with him. He used to love it. I'll have to take him to a park again before the weather gets too cold... :)
