My troublesome neighbors have reaimed their stupidity and I want a ring side seat when the fireworks start. :sidesplit: :yelrotflmao:

The neighbor on the opposite side of them from us has been there for about 30 yrs. She bought what used to be the local 2 room school and turned it into a very nice house. She's worked for housing authority since before she bought the place so certainly knows her property law better than most. She's recently retired, is one who can definitely stand up for herself and naturally wasn't home when this took place.

The methhead clan decided to hook their pickup truck to her fence (which has been there since before I was born) and pulled it down. It was a metal fence with cable strung on it and while it's not terribly attractive, it's very old and was firmly planted. So in jerking it out, they bent the posts, the little platform anchors that had been buried all these years, and knocked down a speed limit sign which they stuck back in the ground crooked.

When she comes home and sees their handiwork I imagine we'll get to see those idiots getting cuffed and hauled off to jail yet again.

They tried to claim that piece of land a couple months ago and just took their lawn mower over there, starting to mow. They made it half way across the lot before she came out and sent them packing. Can you imagine being so stupid?

Idiots on TV can make us laugh when we see the home videos but the reality is they are dangerous ignoramuses and need to be stopped to keep other people safe and sound.

"My troublesome neighbors have reaimed their stupidity and I want a ring side seat when the fireworks start. "

Move over - I'm coming over to watch too. I'll bring the coffee and some Dunkin" Donuts. Sounds like a hoot!

Can you take pictures or is it too dangerous?

I don't think she's been home enough to notice what they did yet.
Today they're out burning garbage and tires... totally illegal. If the wind changes so smoke blows my direction I'm gonna be calling that in as I don't need sick puppies.

Kinda sad to see, but they got themselves another puppy. It looks like a chi pup. VERY tiny and looks scared to death. Once they set it down it tears off with it's tail tucked and they have to scramble to re-catch it. The kids are running around the yard with it tucked under their arm most of the time. If they kick that one like they do their big dogs it will likely end up dead.

Greg was outside and a polic officer came over asking if he'd come with him to the neighbors for a discussion. The neighbor on the other side of the methheads finally noticed her fence was toer down and she called the police.

On the way over, Greg said "So Joan finally noticed her fence got tore down huh?" The officer said yes. Greg said "With all the chemicals those people do I think their brains are too cooked to act rationally anymore." The officer responded with "That's very possible!"

So once over there, Greg had to give his account of the land boundary problems, explain what we've done and why, and got to watch the neighbors put their feet int heir mouths again. I left it to him for quite a while, but when they all came over to the corner of OUR lot I finally decided to join them.

The neighbor made all sorts of wild comments as usual. I was able to shoot down the guy who was saying he makes the payments on the lot by pointing out his name is no where on the deed so the cop told him he's meerly a renter and can't be involved. The Jenny tried to claim that they'd paid $10,000 more for the lot than they did... which I corrected her on... and the officer noted. THEN they tried to say that they were the victims here, getting squeezed out by us nasty neighbors.; at which time I reminded them that if they hadn't threatened my dh, gotten nasty with me, kept moving their childs swinset closer to our buildings, etc we'd have never hired a surveyor and they'd still be using "our land". The friend who lives with them and claims to be making the payment jumped back in at that point and tried to argue... so I pointed out that HE is the one who made the threats, poked my dh in the chest, etc... then asked him "Would you like me to elaborate for the officer?" at which time he finally just walked away since we could have charged him with assault.

In the end, the officer told all of us that there is to be no more fences put up or taken down until this has been decided by legal sources and the jerks in the middle were told to stay on their own property and quit harrassing us. I tolds the neighbors in front of the officer that if they wish to communicate with us, they are to do it through our attorney because we do not care to have to deal directly with them at all anymore. So he told them IF they should try to come on our property or talk with us directly that it would be considered harrassment and tresspassing and they will be charged. He said the same is true for the lady on their other side.

So they've got their lawyer houdning the other lady right now but it sounds like they plan to try to come after us as well. I honestly don't have any clue how they think they're going to be able to afford to do all that, but oh well. They claim they have plans tomove as soon as probate on her grandpas will is done and they get possession of some house she supposedly inherited but with this hanging over their property they won't be able to sell it. She also claimed to have put $17,000 worth of improvements into her moblie home and seems tot hink she's going to recoup that when she sells.

What an idiot! It's still a (whatever year) trailer house and will only sell for what the book price on it is unless she can find a cash buyer for it which is unlikely. Who with that much cash is going to buy a mobile home on a skinny lot?

So anyway, they admitted to taking down the fence, and were told until they go to court and get things decided they can't bother any of us or our properties anymore.

OMG he pushed dh? A**!

But, I so wish you had videotaped the shenanigans. How dysfunctional can you get?
They're like their own little sitcom.

I'm sorry - I have so little compassion for them. I only feel bad for the children and whatever animals they're keeping at the moment.

Amazing, Tink! Proud of you and your dh for hanging tough.

Yikes, maybe something will finally be done about them! That has to be so annoying for you!! And I can't believe he hit your hubby! Wow, that's some nerve!

I actually feel a little sorry for them. They were probably raised like that, just as there children are being raised now, and so the cycle will continue... :(
