I put all of my bills on a payment schedule. I do my banking online and I get a pension check once/month. I scheduled to transfer a certain amount monthly and the bills get paid automatically. It works out beautifully. I just checked and they all got paid.

I'm probably a litte bit overdrawn, but I have overdraft protection, so I'll worry about that tomorrow. I'm sure not rich, but not worried either.

I feel like such an adult!

I have to admit, I have no idea how I ended up in such a good place. I was not the most responsible person - maybe that's why. Maybe underneath it all, I always had fun, but put one foot in front of the other the whole way through.

My friends are amazed though!

I like auto online bill paying but we have had problems 2 or 3 times when the credit card companies were bought out by other companies and the site did not update the info in a timely fashion so watch out for that one. Otherwise, it's been great - been doing it for longer than I can remember.

I've never done the auto pay...sounds so much easier, but right now...we don't keep enough in...so better wait until hubby goes back to work!

I pay some of my bills on-line but not very many and have some that are automatically taken out of our account. In our small town a lot of the businesses aren't set up for automatic payments. I'm sure that sometime in the future they'll all have it.

I do all of my bills online. Most are automatic payment. It's just so much easier for me to keep up with that way and super convenient!

Some i do automatically, some i dont - if i doubt the company, i do it myself. Ive had times before where they take off double payments, and they were a pain in the butt to get back.

Oh wow, I've never had a problem like that. That would be awful!

I set up the payments to be sent from my bank account to the various companies. I don't let the companies take their money from my account. This way, I have more control and if my bank screws up, they pay the fines.

Of course, Paypal can do whatever they want. They have access to my checking account, but they never have messed up. Love my eBay! Right now I' m bidding on some pretty glass doorknobs - with a Bid Assistant. Life is sure good when you have nothing else to worry about!

I love e-Bay too. I always have a box full of stuff that I'm watching. I like old children's dishes and cupboards so I watch a lot of that kind of stuff. When I use PayPal I have it charged to my credit card instead of taking it out of my bank account. I do that because I don't keep very good track of what I've bought as far as the money goes and I don't want any overdrafts.

So, Judy, what are you going to do with your doorknobs?

Somebody's ringing the bell
Someone's knocking at the door
Somebody's ringing the bell
Do me a favor
Open the door and let me, let them in now"

I pay some bills on line - some are called in and put on the credit card - a couple are auto drafted. It's very convienent and knock on wood I've never had a problem.

E-bay is wonderful - love it. I haven't been on in awhile as I haven't thought of anything I've wanted. Well...I want stuff, lots of stuff but it's not anything I can find on E-bay, hahahaha.

My mom still has the glass door knobs on her interior doors, they've been on the doors since the house was built, back in the early '40's.

Did ya win? Did ya win? LOL :D (I love that last minute counting down on the bid. My heart always feels like it's going to jump outta my chest with nervousness!)

I have some porcelain knobs with little rosebuds from my mother-in-law's victorian home. I don't imagine I'll ever get to use the on anything but I love them.
