Lily is very sleek coated yet, so when she goes outside she's instantly shivering. I got her a sweater to help protect her from the chill. Dh was less than impressed, but I think she looks kinda cute in it. LOL

She does look cute Tink!! I love the colors.

I haven't been putting anything on the Yorkie babes. Too much dressing and undressing with four of them...lol I figure I'd let them try to get use to the cold, go out do their business and get the heck back in. So far it's not working....they want to stay out and play. I'm sure they'll change their mind once it gets below 30 and when the snow flies.

Lily does not look happy! But she does look cute! What a riot life must be at your house, Tink.

Kate, you couldn't be more right. :sidesplit:

Living In our 2 bedroom house we have dh who is here 1 - 2 days a week and myself; our 19 and 21 yr old "kids" and their 20 yr old friend who is our "extra kid". At least a couple nights a week, Joels' fiancee (when she's not working).

Moses, (Standard poodle daddy of the litter) who believes the house is HIS and should not be invaded by any of these young canine upstarts.
We have Lily, who's in the house full time to keep her from being able to eat any food other than her prescription stuff and to keep an eye on her "problems".
Canada and her 3 remaining male pups out in the run. She is so tired of the pups... figures she should have more attention and lap time than she gets. (I can truly relate to how Canada is feeling!) Isn't it time for them to fly the coop yet?
Moose, the huge male pup a family friend bought and we babysit for almost daily while he works.
Snuggles, the female pup my sons finacee bought and brings here with her almost daily.
Maddie, the other dog of the fiancee... a chihauau (sp?) cross that is a quivering yipper when the pups come near her.
Sebastian, our cat who lives in the house and is teaching the pups about how to live with a feline.

As well as a rather steady stream of visitors, and puppy buyers.

We bought this place 2 yrs ago thinking the kids would soon be gone, most of the time I'd be here alone and the house would be plenty big for us. :yelrotflmao: WHAT were we thinking!?!? :scratchhead: Less than 1,000 sq feet with all these living, breathing characters.

The computer is my hideout... :coffee_n_pc:
Most of the time we're :ghug: but once in a while it does get to be too circus like and I get  So they all  and give me a bit of time alone to recover my sanity.

I think you should put all those strong young backs to work building your private office addition to the family manse! I bet they could have it up in a couple of weeks if you crack that humorous whip of yours. Unless, that is, you are snowed in already! (I know my sister's gotten plenty of it this last week up in New England.)

Gosh - how will you handle the winter when you can't send them all out for a loaf of bread???

Wow, Tink. You have a lot of animals and people!!! for such a small space. I cannot imagine!! How do you get anything done? I'd have to get out of the house at least during the day.

You must be a very close family, literally!!!!!

Rather than building on, my wish if I could sit in Santas lap and make one that would be granted, would be for all of the kids to find their own places, move out and take their pets with them. Much as I love them all, it is just TOO MUCH. I've been having talks with each of them about the fact that they need to be looking for a place of their own because I want my space and privacy back while we're all still on good terms.

Living so cramped together is a real test of everyones patience, as I'm sure you can all imagine.

I'm afraid if we built on they'd stay even longer... don't want to make them TOO comfortable! ;)

Yes - I can understand that one! Hang in there, Tink. One day, you will laugh even more about this - I am sure of it!!

Tink, may they all sprout wings and fly away, soon!!!!! When they do, it will be bittersweet!!

By the way, the sweater is adorable!!!! Lily's white hair just sets it off!!! Men just don't know fashion!!! ;)

Lily's sweater is very cute especially against her white fur! Adorable!!

Just keep on telling the kids that it's time to move out and one day they'll eventually get the hint that it's time to move on. Good luck!

They're all still there Tink? You've been talking to them for a while now. Well, patience - you're a great Mom - why leave? They will eventually get it.

I love the sweater! Dh is not fashion conscious, that's all.
