I like to know how many of you are fans of Engelbert Humperdinck ? This past Saturday a few of us went to Atlantic City and saw him perform. Let me tell you, he is in the business 40 years and boy he has not lost his voice. He sang his greatest hits , Please release me... Spanish eyes... After The Loving .. etc. and he is very funny to. He looks pretty good for 71 . It was nice going back to memory lane for the songs brought back wonderful times. While we were in A.C. which for many who don't know is a gambling town :D in NJ. I lost on the slots :( but it was a fun night dinner, show and gambling.

What a blast!!! If there is one thing I love the most with music is to be taken back. I am going to have to pull E.H. and check his music/talents out. It sounds like he has been entertaining for awhile and has earned respect for sure. I probably should be embarrassed now not saying I am familiar with him. (I am horrible with names - and most likely have listened to him not realizing it.)

I LOVE music - especially big bands/easy listening. (geez I must be getting old)

Slots are always fun! I like the video poker myself. (My money lasts longer there) I have a friend who is a slot junkie, LOL. She in fact, has her own accountant just for her gambeling books. She wins big...but loses big too.

Oh yes i remember him too well!!
A friend of mine who lived next door to me, used to play hes music LOUD in the am after her, and her husband had a fight the night before "PLEASE RELEASE ME" an hour later she would ring my doorbell, we had many-many laughs about those episodes.
Glad you had a blast, Gina. Gotta love the slots LOL

I remember him, and reeeally liked his music!!!! He's still preforming???  Wow, that must have taken you back. I have XM radio in my truck, and I like to go to the 60's and 70's stations from time to time and just step back in time a bit. So glad you got the opportunity to go and had such a good time!!! You deserve it!!!

I did go to see him in London some 40 plus years ago, was really excited as it was such a big treat for my family but when we got there his understudy was playing as he had a sore throat. So never got to see him.
