So what is everyone doing for Thanksgiving? Staying home? Going to Parents? Friends? Eating out?

We're going to be staying home. The kids, except my son is going to his in-laws, will be here and some relatives of my son-in-law are coming too. They're nice people and we've been around them quite a bit but this will be our first Thanksgiving with them. I'll fix a big lunch and then my son and his family will show up for supper with left-overs.

My Mom, Stepdad, aunts, uncles, and cousins are all getting together in Texas this year (they get together every other year) so it's really hard to think about staying home while they're all getting together without me!! :( We had such a good time a couple of years ago when we went. But we'll have fun too.

Hopefully this year I WON"T accidentally take the Tylenol PM for a headache like last year!!!! Talk about a blonde moment! They put me to sleep for most of the day!!!!!

We're all going to Mom's house again this year. It's a tradition. We're doing it tomorrow instead of Thursday though. We'll have about 13 people if I remember correctly. It'll be fun! :)

I'll be fixing everything here for hubby's side of the family. Not sure quite yet how many will make it, but I'll fix enough just in case...if we don't have many come..we'll have leftovers!!

My Mom always has it at her house, but she's only going to fix the turkey and then my sister-in-law will be helping her with the rest.

I do have everything bought except for a ham, but should have that in a day or two. I love the Thanksgiving meal with everyone gathered around the table.

I am working. Tutoring my Kuwaiti student as she bones up for a major exam on the Monday after the holiday. I'll talk to all my sibs before the weekends out, and to all my dearest friends. None of them will be here this year. Anyone else who has to work?

Being a bus driver, we have a four day weekend starting with Wednesday. I'll be able to get a lot of preparation done on Wednesday and not make Thursday so much work. I'm really getting excited now that I have my shopping done and the house cleaned up.

I really love having it on Thanksgiving Day but as long as family is together and we are thankful for all our blessing I guess it doesn't matter which day it is.

You're absolutely right Debbie, everyday can be Thanksgiving if we're truly thankful. Hope you're having a great time today! Can't wait to hear all about it.

I'm packing up the furbabies, all the toys and some warm clothes and driving up to my daughter's house on Wednesday.

You all know how excited I am!

I'm bringing up 3 side dishes, Jess is making the turkey and stuffing, her MIL is bringing desert and appetizers, and I don't know who else is bringing what.

I'll take pictures. Let's all try to post Thanksgiving pictures if we can. That would be nice to share.

Great idea...I just hope I remember to take some. I'm usually the one putting things up and trying to make sure everyone's enjoying themselves. I did just buy a new battery for the camera just in case it decides to die on Thursday...lol
