This is a positive for me anyway. I've started getting ready for the Thanksgiving meal. So far I've broke apart the bread for the dressing and I've boil the eggs for deviled eggs. Later this afternoon I'll start cutting up and measuring ingredients so all I'll have to do is put them together on Thursday morning. Sure makes life so much easier that day.

It sounds like you're getting a jump on your cooking, Janet. You're always so organized!!! I try to be!!!

I went to the grocery store today and, hopefully, got everything I need to fix my Thanksgiving meal. The girls are bringing quite a bit to help out but I still have a full day of baking tomorrow. Crescent rolls and pumpkin pies!!!

Nice going Janet, I've made crescent rolls from scratch 4 dozen and 2 raspberry pies, and snicker doodles and no bake cookies. All today. Going to the in-laws tomorrow. Em is having her dad's side at her house tomorrow.
Happy Cooking.

Wow Linda, you've been busy! So far today I've got potatoes peeled, pumpkin pie, peanut butter pie, and choc. pie made. A cheesecake and deviled eggs made. Have all the ingredients for everything else cut, chopped and measured for an easy put together tomorrow. Can't think of anything else that really needs done except running the sweeper and I have a husband and son that can help with that.

Gina, did that leave anything for your sister-in-law to make? It sounds like you got a good share of the meal to prepare.

Oh Gina, I love a good pork roast probably more than turkey. I can't wait for tomorrow's meal. I decided since I blew the diet anyway and not planning to start again until after Christmas, I'm gonna chow down like crazy. I think Thanksgiving leftovers taste just as good or better than the actual meal itself.

Thanks Angie, I hope you took some pictures of your Thanksgiving that you can share. I just hope I remember to take some pictures.

Looks like it will just be me, hubby, son, sister-in-law, niece and nephew for Thanksgiving this year. Since my hubby's parents are gone, no one from out of state wants to come home anymore it seems. Such a shame.

I know!!! I'm so angry with myself. Besides me, hubby and my son, my sister-in-law and her two grown children (not married) came. That's it...6 people. Her son is getting a divorce so he hasn't been at our Thanksgiving or Christmas in years because she was such a witch and demanded he spend it with her family. I just can't believe I was so stupid....I even had the camera out and ready.
