Eric and Stacy are brother and sister and have been hanging around our family for many years. It's their bio dad who owns the house where Shannon rents.

Last night Eric put his car in the ditch witin a couple miles of his moms (Cathy) house, so called her to help him. She brought her long term live in BF Arnie with her to help.
Cathy sat in the pickup while Arnie got out to connect a chain to the 2 vehicles... it was -12 degrees, so no one wanted to be out any more than necessary.

Just as Arnie got to Erics vehicle, another car came speeding over the knoll, hit the pickup and smashed it into Arnie. Arnie died on impact. Cathy had her back and shoulder badly bruised, and shoulder dislocated. The truck narrowly missed Eric.

Stacy is here with us today as she just couldn't take the constant flow of visitors to her moms house. Eric is finally asleep and Cathy is heavily medicated, but home with friends.

Please pray for them. Eric is blaming himself, Cathy feels responsible, and it's just a mess.

Oh, Tink, this is just horrible!!! Prayers you ask for are headed your way. There's just not much to say at a time like this but know that others are thinking of you and the ones affected and lifting them up.

Oh, Tink. I'm so sorry about your friends. I will certainly say a prayer for them. As for you not knowing what to say to them....a hug says it all. Sometimes there's no need for words.
