I love a long hot bath, love to set on the porch and watch thunderstorms, holding my puppy, reading a good book.

I love to sit on my front porch and watch the deer run from woods to woods.
Sitting on the front porch drinking my morning coffee.
Long bath with candles.
Looking at momentos from the past.

I just like to lay on the couch and watch TV with a good glass of wine while cuddling my furbabies. :D

I like to sit on the beach with a good, saucy, fun book and my iPod tuned to my "Chill" playlist! Throw a couple of cocktails into the afternoon mix and it's pure nirvana!

In the summer I loved just hanging out by the pool listening to the radio with a cooler by my side. :) In the winter I like to hang out in front of the fireplace with a good movie and a cooler by my side! :D

LOL! My next house is going to have a pool. Save me from driving to the beach and having to BUY cocktails!!!! And it sounds like winter at my house! Minus the cooler... we use the fridge or snow if it's deep enough. (The best champagne chiller ever!)
What can I say... I'm a lush at heart!:p

You ladies can have my pool! It's just a 24' above ground, but we haven't even used it for the last 2 years. Too much work keeping it clean and a pain buying the chemicals. It can turn green so fast if you don't stay on top of it. I didn't even open it this year. I'm hoping to either sell it (cheap) or just tear it down this fall. I would love to have a gazebo in it's place.
When I need to unwind I get on Yahoo and play Literati. It's an interactive online version of Scrabble. I don't care if I win or lose, it just gets my mind off anything that's bugging me.

I have to say we got our money's worth out of our pool already. We've had it for two years and we're in it every hot day in the summer. I didn't even get to the beach this year. But my kids are 7 and 6 and they love the pool so much. My husband actually likes the upkeep on it. Well for now that is! I'm hoping to get a gazebo next year. They sell the kits so we'll do it ourselves (maybe). Oh and I have to have a tiki bar!:p

We've had our pool for ever 16 years. I was the one doing the upkeep. Husband probably got in less than 10 times in 16 years. Son didn't really enjoy it as much any more. More interested in vehicles now. So..it's coming down!:)

I head down to the river behind my house. I pack my chair, some drinks, and music. Once that chair and I are plopped in the river I at times never wanna leave.
Another is heading to my horse Teenah's pen. Brushing, saddeling, and taking off with her across all the surrounding pastures is an experience that is hard to describe.
Then there's jumping into the hot tub with my hubby.
If I wanna stay indoors I grab lots of junk food, don't take a bath all day, climb into bed and watch Food Network all day long. I only get up to go potty, that's it.
Then there's climbing on the back of my hubby's motorcycle and we head out. I lean my head back, bring my arms out to my side and it feels like I'm flying. So kid like I know, but it's awesome.
Being with my girl friend here at home. We always have so much to talk about and the special bond of "girl chat" is very relaxing.
Camping...Do that often
I think that's about it right now. :)

Hide in my bedroom with a book. That's how I like to relax the best!

I love having "me" nights but I've been so busy I haven't had one in close to 2 years! I turn the lights low and do yoga, nothing strenuous but just relaxing, meditative poses, and it gets me into a little zone haha. Then I have a bubble bath and use body scrubs and lotions and a face mask, get into comfy pj's, and sit down for a good book or a chick flick :) That sounds so good, I wish I could do it tonight!

Take my dogs and go for long walks in the woods, forget about the world around me for a while.
Sit on the couch with a nice long drink and watch tv or do nothing.
Go to the beach and just sit there staring over the water, and watch ships go by.
I enjoy the simple things to take my mind off it all:thumbup:

Janet! That's what you hire a hot pool-boy for!;)
Oh and I have to have a tiki bar!:p
I know where you can buy some fake palm trees over in Spring Lake! Put a couple of pink flamingos beside them in the lawn and you've really got a tiki bar!:p
