Sick last week...

:sickie: I was sick some last week. Had a nasty stomach virus that is going around. The symptoms are the usual nausia, dirrhea and fever (excuse my spelling). Missed a couple of days work. Hope it doesn't get to your area, but the flu and this stomach virus seem to running rampant around here. I was better Saturday morning, but am still feeling the effects today. Nasty bug!!!

I thought I was coming down with something yesterday, but I might just be run down. I drank O.J. all day & sucked on cold ease. I seem to be better today. Here's hoping I don't get it, I can't miss work.

I hope you both feel 100 % better today. Having the flu bug is nasty business. I would rather have just about anything than nausea.

I hope that both of you are on the mend. There's nothing worse than a stomach virus. Once it starts it just goes through the whole family. I haven't heard of it going around up here but I've hardly been out lately because of not having a vehicle!

We're trying. I am still not quite there. It's 8:18 p.m. and I'm about to head to bed. Hubby is being a real sweet heart!!

I think I might of bypassed it knock on wood. I'm still tired, but i don't feel achy anymore. Hope you feel better soon Marilyn.

I got some pretty good rest last night, and I'm much better. Not sure when I will feel 100%. It's kinda wierd actually. I was only really sick for one day on Friday, but this not quite well feeling is still with me. I've spoken with others who say the same thing. People are saying the feeling is kinda like a hangover.

Just trying to be careful what I eat for a few days. This too will pass, I'm sure.

Hopefully after a few days you'll be back to 100%. So far our area hasn't been affected by any flu or bad colds for a while. I just hope it stays that way.

Seems like this is really getting around in our area. I was in the Bay City area today and everyone was talking about the virus. Seems like even though the most obvious symptoms last only about 24 hours, the feelings I'm having are lasting 1-1/2 to 2 weeks. :eek:

Like I said before, hopefully this will fizzle out before going too far north.
