I lost my husband last May, he was only 57 yrs old. Never sick a day in his life.
It's so hard to be alone after being with someone for 37yrs. I don't like cooking for myself, so I live on frozen meals and soups. Will I ever feel like living again?
I swear if it wasn'f for my kids and dogs.....I don't know!!
Thanks for listening to me vent!:wavecry:

I'm sorry for your loss Kathy. I wish there was something I could do. I'm sure it helps to have your kids and your dogs. It can take a long time to move on for some, life is just too short and your husband would want you to live your life to it's fullest.
You can come here anytime, we have a very compassionate group of ladies that I always call my best friends. I just know you'll come to love them as much as I do.

We've had a couple of close calls, so know what it is like to think you might be about to become a widow, but hubby is still around, thank God.
So glad you found us!!! Hopefully you will find some ladies here who can relate and really connect with you. We all care and hope to get to know you better. Hugs, Kathy.

Kathy, I'm so sorry about your husband. I can't imagine how difficult the last few months have been for you. We're here for you if you need us. Don't be afraid to let us know how you're feeling or going through. We have a great group here that will keep you in their prayers. I'm glad that you have your kids and your dogs. I'm sure that they keep you busy and laughing. Do you have any grandchildren? I have 4 kids (2 married) and 5 grandchildren.

Yes, I have 5 Grandchildren, the 2 boys live 7 minutes from me, and the 3 girls live an hour away in Wisconsin. I'm gonna do a little bragging right now:rolleyes:
My oldest grandaughter, Olivia 7, is the little girl on the size 5 Huggies package, she was 18 mos then, she's the little blonde playing with the big purple ball. AS soon as I figure out how to post pics here I will. Oh my gosh, I did it:tongue012:

I'm really looking forward to being a part of the 4WT Group, thanks for having me;)
How darling! I'm sorry to hear about your husband but glad your grandchildren live fairly close by. Time is a great healer.
Dear Kathy,
I'm so sorry for your loss. My Dad went through that. He was married 36 years and she was 56 when she died. He remarried within a year. Men usually do, but I remember what a rough time he had.
He's gone now, but he had a wonderful second marriage!
Your granddaughter is just precious! You can have bragging rights for sure.

Dear Judy,
Thank You for your kind words!!
I'm just taking it day to day for now, who knows what the future holds for me.
I think 4WT will be a great source for me to learn from, just like a family away from home.
